yeah I thought Red Rocket League was one of the easier minigames, and quick enough to be fun for the duration

also mirror upgrades are going to affect every run, a lot of the other stuff is only going to affect a run when you equip is specifically, so you may want to focus on darkness at first?

but also darkness is very common, so maybe you dont need to focus too much on it if youre offered a choice between darkness and nectar or something.

Im pretty sure the gems are basically just for unlocking cosmetic alterations to the home base, so they should be your lowest priority

I looked it up, and it wouldnt even have been around the time Dominos changed their recipe. It would have been totally mundane Dominos that Id had before.

Took a solid 5 seconds to realize there not being a huge Cactuar holding up the Gold Saucer wasn't a bug.

With Unicorn Overlord out in less than an hour, I need to ask about how much longer the game is.

if you just got to the Gold Saucer the answer is probably longer than youve already spent playing it.

obviously dependent on how much side stuff youre doing

man this is really bumming me out. between DBZ and Dragon Quest, he was a big part of my childhood and continued to be part of it until now.

He had a real talent for designing characters who look cool as hell, characters who look super goofy, and somehow characters who are both at the same time.

Yuffies grown on me over the time Ive had her, but also I think I have a remarkable ability to grow attached to any party member in a game after a while. I thought Hope was alright.

(exception being Vaan and Penelo who are forever jabronis sucking screentime away from the cool guys)

but hey, Yuffies ninja partner just got killed by Shinra, and shes all by herself in a foreign land controlled by his murderers. And shes basically a kid. Cut her some slack.

yeah Ive noticed the lighting getting weird in places where it transitions between a dark place and a bright place

It was a real issue during the mine cart section where you shoot crates. A lot of quickly going in and out of cave sections, and the lighting made it tough to actually see a lot of the stuff I was meant to shoot.

I sincerely love Roche. Roche should join the party in part 3 (assuming he doesnt die at some point in this game past where I am)

I think its super funny that Chadley is annoyed by the girl Chadley he created. You get to see him have the experience players had with him.

Chadleys fine. I dont get why they went all in on him, but he doesnt actually bother me

on the Moogle point, I think the real issue with any of this stuff is when it gets in the way of the thing you want to do

like ok, make me find the Moogles the first time as an intro to this situation, but after that when I stumble on a new mushroom I just want to access the dang shop.

put whatever additional levels of Moogle Catch you want in there as optional ways to get some more medals
