I played the "beta" for about 150 hours so I'm excited for it to come back and hopefully fix at least some of the issues.

I'm cautiously unoptimistic

I quit playing when I finished the first battlepass, and realized the only reason I was playing was to get points for the battle pass and I wasn't actually having fun.

But maybe they'll change it up!

i found the beta/first release super fun. granted, i didn't get the battle pass, so i probably played less than some others. but i played a lot

the main bad thing i remember was queue times getting ridiculous after they added an official ranked mode. i preferred when there was only the "unranked with mmr" default mode (which was ranked in all but name) they had to start with

but the actual game- both 1s and 2s- was strong

One of the recent rumors said that they're taking the Halo approach and making it so that previous battlepasses don't expire. I think that's a much better approach compared to the FOMO impulse purchase model.

Paul Atreides (voiced by Timothee Chalamet because he likes video games)

Add Weiss Schnee and I'll be back on board with $500 to spare for whatever costume they throw at it.

I'm morbidly curious about how this is gonna go.

like three times in a row whatever character I found something good and fun with and started maining got nerfed

These two had voice lines and models leaked like a year ago if I remember right, they're basically confirmed assuming anything actually comes of the release

It was pretty stupid to make that post 1 day before the Xbox showcase and not have anything to show there. Xbox even tweeted back at them the day before!

But I'm sure we'll see something in the next week.
