-Lailah def married a previous Shepherd, I kinda wonder if the seraphim rules ARE lies. I wonder if she reproduced and had Sorey and Mikleo as children. It would answer so much
-The Anti Shepherd appeared out of nowhere shes Alishas mentor the Blue Valkyrie. I'll see where this goes but it doesn't make a ton of sense.

Edna
What I Know: I'm not usually a fan of kids in rpgs, thankfully she just has the appearance of one. Edna is an Earth Seraphim that you recruit when barely escaping a dragon. Shes a super sarcastic semi mischievous girl. She has the ability of great strength but using that strength makes her weak for periods of time.

What I DONT Know:
-Edna has been a sub lord before, just unsure when.
-What the deal is with her brother, how she has a brother and how he turned into a dragon exactly but she didnt?

Rose
What I Know: Rose initially appears as a travelling merchant but its later revealed shes the assassin who has tried to kill and save the party multiple times. She saves Sorey when the Lord of Calamity tries to kill him and they become fast friends after. Rose has been accompanied unknowingly by a Seraphim who boosted her abilities and tolerance of the seraphim. She is a very jokey, semi loud mouth character but when its time to be serious this is a character that kills her emotions to perform the task at hand including murder. She is a super interesting Yang to Soreys Yin. Unlike Alisha who felt like a tag along, she feels like a serious balance.

What I DONT Know:
-Why did the merchants become assassins?
-Why does she have seraphim affinity?
-If she had the ability to be possessed by these seraphim why couldnt she see them?

Dezel
What I Know: He is a blind wind Seraphim who has been accompanying Rose for some unknown amount of time. He seeks revenge against a murderous Seraphim that he won't describe. He likes dogs. Oh and his connection to Rose is definitely because he is her father. The fire lords servant said he was a human who became a seraphim, this def happened here.

What I DONT Know:
-How did he lose his sight?
-Why did he become a seraphim?

Ok as promised for literally nobody reading this my thoughts on the characters, plot so far, and of course lingering questions

Storywise
A lord of Calamity brings malevolence to the world, the Shepherd is destined to stop it. Seraphim are ghost like people of different elements that Humans cant see. They are worshipped and if they arent, darkness can grow in their hearts. They can transform into hellions, followed by Drakeyn, then Drakes, then Dragons. Once they become Dragons they can never be purified.

Sorey
What I Know: Sorey is the Shepherd, the main character, the hero that will save us. Personality for Sorey is rather upbeat, a bit naive but not to the anime fault some JRPG characters can get. Its more of a seeing the best in others deal. Soreys story focuses on his trials, pilgrimage and journey as a Shepherd. If he has any subplot it is his love of ruins.

What I DONT Know:
-Sorey grew up in Elysia a town of Seraphim....but we don't know how he got there
-Soreys parents are a mystery, literally not a drop of hinting or conversation
-Why can Sorey see Seraphim from seemingly the get go? No other human has this ability

Mikleo
What I Know: Mikleo is a Seraphim of Water/Ice, he grew up in the town of Elysia with Sorey and shares the interest in exploring ruins. He also is afraid of dogs as his comedy relief. Mikleos story focuses on him wanting to become stronger, teaching himself new techniques to show his value. In terms of story progression or mystery he has really none, his role is to be the buddy cop to Sorey.

What I DONT Know:
-Sorey mentions Mikleo has a different goal in life but its never mentioned what
-Mikleo is a Seraphim but he...ages? They tell us that the Seraphim come to be, they dont have parents, they cant reproduce, they dont age....yet he does.

Lailah
What I Know: A fire Seraphim worshipped as the Lady of the Lake. She has made an oath giving her the power of purification and has guided at least one shepherd before as proven by a memory globe we found. She has a thing for armadillos, bad jokes, and not telling us damn anything. Its taken me a long time to get used to a character that knows stuff but refuses to talk.

What I DONT Know:
-What she sacrificed to give up her oath
-What she meant when Sorey tried to burn his face as tribute and she said 'not again, not this time' What the hell happened
-How she thinks taking an oath of silence on anything relevant is helpful, seriously stop
-Can any seraphim make an oath for purification?

Alisha
What I Know: Although long gone now (unless you buy her after game dlc) Alisha was the princess that is a knight and a straight arrow thru and thru. She couldn't see the Seraphim without the help of Sorey and that link started to actually kill Sorey. There is a point everyones almost killed because he has to lend her so much power to be able to fight alongside. She realizes this and leaves the party saying she has her own destiny. This is a character that causes a lot of grief apparently to Tales fans but I like this removal. She is a character thats set up to be a heroine and she is just not the heroine of this story. Actuality is she is very weak in battle, can't fuse like Sorey and the character that replaces her is a much better fit.

What I DONT Know:
-I don't really have much here, the thing about Alisha is her stay lasts the first ten hours but they kept a lot of those deep cards of personality close to the vest for the dlc they want to sell you

I'm currently mainly working on Tales of Zesteria any chance I get when I'm off work, or the rare days off. I'm currently on the 3rd act of the game and I have to wonder how much more there really could be. Tomorrow morning I'm, gonna post my character and theory breakdown on the story. This sadly won't be a platinum run as A.difficulty trophies and B.multiple playthrough trophies bug me. I will be completing all the collectibles and all those juicy sidequests. That being said I'm itching to hit the first continent again if the game ever lets me so I can do some exploring 8)

The other game getting my focus in lighter chunks is Fire Emblem Warriors, I say lighter chunks as I only play it in bed and usually fall asleep on it. I'm in this weird part of the game for me where it is all about the Fates characters and....I didn't play those yet >_>

Fire Emblem Warriors: Cleared mission 8, just learned I can not only swap heroes for deployment but that Robin has 0 defense jesus. The story is focused on FE Fates characters now and I'm a bit lost considering I never made it past the intro of that game. <_<

Tales of Zestiria: I have no cleared act 1, and have the games final party. You know i get the Alisha controversy but I liked how she was written out. It makes sense and the story flows better. Rose suddenly being powerful out of nowhere is another great build up since she was essentially artificially powered up by the rogue spirit. This game still has holes but I'm not hating it.
