Overall this is another strange attempt at making a classic game 'exciting'. You have these different style enclosed maps and 2-6 players run around bidding on properties by blowing money on them. Then you suck up resources of water and electricity then blow that on the properties to upgrade it. There isn't much monopoly identity here and all of it really comes from the Community Chest cards which are powerups that can give money, attack other players, steal from other players or even steal properties. Theres also events that are custom to each stage that can be traffic that runs you over, trains that run you over, flooding, and other obstacles to slow you down.

The story isn't needed for platinum but is an amusingly bad narrative about Mr Monopoly being tired and wanting to give you his uh...what does he own exactly? Its a weak Willy Wonka nod.

Pros and Cons
+ The game is actually fun with friends
+ The story is skippable
+ The achievements can be done with a second controller or a single AI bot
- The events are just time wasters that effect everyone equally
- Item useage has weird lag to it
- The mario party awards at the end are random and they are every trophy basically so enjoy doing the setup for them match after match
- Some descriptions are really vague for trophies

I'm not very in the know on dc history vs marvel so I have 0 clue who a bunch of the society people that showed up in Dark Crisis. laughed out loud though at fucking punchline being in the legion of doom, fucking spare me

Mighty Morphin #22 ends with a neat moment, but also confronts the moving on question from being a ranger. It looks like the book wants to eventually retire the main cast but at the same time they dont want too and have them be active. And I understand it. its much easier to expand your universe then keep retiring long established cast members. Its likely why the book split and introduced the omega rangers instead of cutting half the cast.

Strange Academy ended with such a flatline fart that I honestly think I can't suggest it to anyone. It was better than Titans Academy sure but it overall flatlined as a book. Not sure when or why they killed dr strange in the same months and time of year HIS FREAKING MOVIE DROPPED but someone should be flat out fired at marvel for greenlighting that. Thats something you greenlight when he got snapped in infinity war

Episode 1
-Dear god this opening is just ridiculously good even the little exposition music at the starts fantastic

-The Premise is this Gold Roger guy was executed and told the world of the greatest treasure One Piece, so now an age of piracy has started? How long ago was this?

-We open with Nami (I assume) at some fancy shindig but she plans to rob it inthe most obvious ass pirate outfit ever

-The Navy seems really inept no wonder piracy is king

-Coby is not only annoying but has the dumbest backstory ever. Hes perfect for the Navy

-Iron Club Alvesta might be the first time I've seen a female villain used at a shows start, she also reminds me of the club guy from DQ8

-Luffys entrance is pretty fantastic

-I enjoy Luffy insulting Coby

-Coby standing up to Alvesta reminds me so much of Morty in Shaman King and yeesh

-Luffy rubber punch OHKO's Alvesta for comedic effect

-Closing theme is odd

Closing Thoughts: Luffy is likeable which yea is why this shows lasted forever but overall this episode really feels like it lacks the hook I've seen other shonen land.

Preview: Zoro the Pirate Killer is in a stockade and Luffy wants to recruit him and uh well I know he succeeds

X-Men: I like more that the team is gonna shuffle yearly than anything. I think cyclops got a nice arch, synch though didnt really every talk to Laura so wasted there. And members like fireguy I dont remember doing anything. Still if Marvel lets this be fun they coulld have some yearly fun with the 1 year commit

Immortal X-Men: Wow this books just so fun but yeah if i wasnt reading other stuff id be lost

Overall my issue with xmen stuff is they keep starting new books and i get lost. Ive read a bunch of this era though

Power Rangers: Having omegas interact heavily with in spaces story is strange but I like it

Spider Gwen really has been shockingly bad every time they've trotted her out post Latour run.

I think Gwenpool has given them the wrong idea about why she was popular.

It's a fully cooperative thing, though.

We'll be doing this asynchronously, so people can play whenever they have time. Items sent out are saved in the Archipelago server, so when people join they'll get any new stuff and anything they send gets sent out when that player joins.
