Strength = you deal damage by overpowering or forcing your way through their defenses.
Dexterity = you deal damage by hitting weaknesses in their defenses with precision

They both make perfect sense and are not remotely the same thing.

In ARPGs like Dark Souls and Elden Ring, these concepts don't apply to the mechanics of the game at all.

DEX is always just an inferior STR. It's pointless to have two stats that do the same thing

Special armadillo spawn in the desert. About 1/100 chance to appear at a specific spawn point, and that spawn point will refresh in just under 3 hours when whatever spawned from it is killed. 99/100 times it's a generic snake or armadillo spawn.

Items it has at least don't have an absurdly low drop rate.
