No, it was outsiders that happened to include white people. Panthers best friend in the movie didn't want to invite the black people in Africa. And when Killmonger first showed up, Wakandans pulled up with weapons.
He was only granted an audience because he brought Wakanda's most wanted and he carried the mark of Wakanda.

So how exactly in your mind is it that Wakanda lets in everyone who is black given the evidence in the movie that it isn't the case.

He was raised as a black man in America, not a black man in Wakanda. All he heard growing up from his dad was how amazing Wakandan people and technology are. When his dad died and he was left there in America, he grew to believe that Wakanda abandoned him just like all the other black people who were suffering throughout history. Nakia felt the same way, going on missions throughout africa to help people instead of staying safe in wakanda because she couldn't ignore the shit going down.

Blade was rated R. Don't know if the finances broke any records at the time but seeing as there was a trilogy I can only assume decent money was made.

We in the Black Community have been excited for Panther since Civil War. We broke pre-sale ticket records. It's not a moment that will go down in history but we've been waiting for this for over a year only to find out from previews and early reviews that it's actually a good movie, no shit we excited.

Wonder Woman had the same vibe for females. They tended to love it while a lot of men talked shit and dismissed it as just another superhero movie. Her being a female lead meant something to female viewers who normally don't see that. Same way Black Panther means something to black people who never see a black lead.

There's nothing wrong with finding commonalities that make you relate to them and get more enjoyment from them. Adults tend to not be interested in shows starring teenagers and vice versa. Women like female leads more then men and vice versa.

That movie was everything it needed to be. Acting, plot, and chemistry may not have been the strongest but damn if it wasn't enjoyable. Its not perfect, but it was done the right way from a creative standpoint. I'm sure comic book nerds could school me on better storylines to introduce them cinematically but look at where we are today and tell me that Avengers 1 didn't catapult this entire franchise to another level as far as brand recognition and whatnot.
