I had no idea Breath of the Wild was a Wii U release also.

I just started Link's Awakening tonight on Switch, i've been playing those Steamworld games like Heist and Quest, they are both pretty great indies. Also been off and on some odd RPG called Ni No Kuni, definitely didn't look like something I would ever play but it's been suggested many times and it was on sale. The RPG mechanics of that game are actually very solid, i'm trying to get over the Disney animation looking graphics, but it's solid and fun enough that I might stick with it.

I got like 30 hours into BotW and own it but I never finished it, I got a little flustered with a motion controlled shrine puzzle and after like 40 tries and beating it, I put the game down for a bit lol.

Switch not Switched, but yeah it's cool because it's versatile, you can use it as a console or handheld which makes it easy to travel with, or if you wanna game while watching TV.

Nah it's that you wish you were drinking. The act of it and the party aspect. I keep going 4 days on 4 days off and just prolonging my withdrawal bullshit.

Nothing is lonelier than being done with the drunk and just sitting there, the house is drunk dry, wondering if you're drunk enough to go to sleep. You've made the right decision.

Thanks, I feel better overall for sure, lost like 12 lbs already. I've been playing puzzle games like Gems of War and Puzzle Quest to occupy my brain, i've done more gaming these last 3 weeks than I probably have in the last 6 months. Just burning through stuff and working.

Yeah i'm in the mountains, but I haven't really seen or heard anything about skiing in the area. I think it's probably too inconsistent with snowfall to maintain during the winter, but i'm not sure.

I'm closer to Chattanooga but we got a lot of snow here the past couple weeks also, most we had at once was near 5 inches, but we had like 4 other nights of 2-3 inch snowfalls too. Odd for this area for sure.

Does she wear rings at all? A lot of girls that do take it off before they go to bed at night, pay attention to what finger she wears it on, snag it in the middle of the night, act dumb and pretend like the cat knocked it off or something and you don't know what happened to it, take it to the jeweler and say "She wears this on her pointer finger" or whatever finger and they should be able to gauge a pretty accurate size from that ring compared to the finger.

Probably the scariest experience I had was in the Army, we flew from Oklahoma to Missouri in a 8 passenger plane that looked like it came out of Vietnam. We hit turbulence and it was a worse sensation than a big drop on a roller coaster for like 45 minutes. Half of the guys were puking their guts out in barf bags and it felt like the thing was falling apart. I've flown commercial quite a lot, and being on a big plane feels like nothing when it rattles a bit, but being on a tiny fucker like that was terrifying.

That sucks. The place my mom bought last year has a pond and she liked it for about 6 months and hates it now cause pine needles and stuff always fall in.

I think its awesome and she should keep but she hates it. Its only got goldfish since its kinda small for koi and she asked me back in the fall if I'd hike em into the "goldfish pond" here.

The goldfish pond is an old flooded mine someone released goldfish into probly around the time I was born and they have thrived like crazy. Its actually really neat. Super green water and you just go there, toss in some food, and boom 309 goldfish show up.

That's awesome, goldfish are crazy resilient and can take a huge range of water temperature.

I think this one is Thai owned, but it's always the same 5 people working there when I go in. It's right at the highway dump off and it's the first gas and restaurant pull off for like 18 miles either way so the truckers keep them afloat for sure. They used to have a big koi pond right when you walked in and they paid me like $30 a month to come test the water twice and make sure the filter was all good, but they decided to break it all down and drain it when COVID hit because they were running very limited hours and were trying to save money I guess.

Speaking of, there's a 5 episode miniseries on HBO called Chernobyl and it was outstanding, i've watched it twice. It really portrays how little the Russian government cared about their people, and saving face to the press and the rest of the world was their top concern and priority. It's devastating but interesting and really well developed.

Diablos and Rathalos are the only two primary ones. Like said above, expect what you would out of a Mila Jovavich Resident Evil movie. Not bad but not great.

It got shit on hard, just finished it and it's a solid 6 movie, but for a video game adaption to film, easily an 8. I expected it to be just atrocious but it really wasn't. Its kind of on the in between tier of Tremors and Starship Troopers.

Proceed to flame me if you disagree but I kinda liked it. If you haven't seen it and like Monster Hunter, give it a shot.

Deadliest Catch is one of my favorite series ever, its oddly addictive and I've watched every season since it's aired. Its insane to watch the conditions they work in, and often devastating. I'm assuming theres a lot of it on Discovery+.

Start with sweet fruits like kiwi, pineapple, plums, peaches, then work down to apples and pears, then to more tart fruits like blueberries, raspberries. If you can get yourself to enjoy avocado, it's about the healthiest fruit that you can eat. Fruit is still sugar, but it's not ice cream and candy. There is a lot more nutritional value, especially fiber which will curb cravings in general. Just like any addiction, weening off is easiest. You will get to the point where you reduce sugar enough that stuff like ice cream is almost sickeningly sweet.

As far as getting away from fried food, just bake more, cook at home more. Baked chicken tenders are gonna be a lot better off than fried chicken tenders. If you can get into fish, you can lightly bread it, and there are enough varieties and flavors that it's tough to get sick of. Tuna, Salmon, Whiting, and Catfish all have a very different flavor

Its gonna be a lot of trying new things and adapting, if you tried it once, say yuck and give up on it, you wont get anywhere. Give it a few fair chances, your taste buds will change when you cut a lot of sugar.
