I saw cannibal holocaust without knowing the animal scenes were real, I learned that after the fact and it fucked with me a bit. Its not just the turtle thing either there's a couple more scenes. I dont know why some of these sicko "artist" directors feel the need to do something like that.

I'll get to it eventually.. it seems like it's long and heavy I struggle to keep my attention span in check during movies like that when drinkin. I usually go for something like John Wick or cheese horror flicks. Trailer Park Boys or Letterkenny are drinkin go-to shows.

We used to vacation there every summer from the mid 80s to the mid 90s. I still remember when my dad had to tell us we weren't going there anymore because its gone too far downhill. It used to he a nicer city especially the inner harbor.

The man who owned the Little Caesars franchise and Detroit Red Wings NHL team paid for Rosa Parks rent for years in an apartment she lived at in downtown Detroit. He supported her civil rights movement that much. From what I understand this information wasn't even known until Mr Illitch passed away a couple years ago. Not all millionaires are dirt bags.
