Apparently it's super easy to get overleveled in this game, even by Pokemon standards; by the time I beat the Elite Four my Sceptile was level 92. I wished it would of went further with the time skip where Goku grew up and fought Piccolo Jr. who would later become the Piccolo of Dragon Ball Z.~~ Regardless, it felt like playing an Astro Boy: Omega Factor-lite.
