Yeah I just have a lot of stacked healers and can off realm Yuna as a healer and think Relm is a bad character so it is what it is

It's not super terrible. Was aiming for Edgar realm chain and mog stuff mostly. And Kefka Sync

I felt real bad today cause my 20 chickens were eaten by coyotes

So I did 3 VI draws

Got

1/11 Celes Glint+
3/11 Celes Dyad, Relm Sync, Kefka LBO
1/11 Relm Glint+

Considering I didn't really want Relm stuff this was not a great set but Celes Dyad is cool

Sunroof here is what you need to do.

Find like 30 stocks you trust will go up

Put $3000 in all of them. Every one of them. Across the board. No exceptions

Ignore it for a year as best you can-- if you fail when you come back things are gonna be down or up a few hundred so the change won't phase you as much so you probably will be able to hold

Finally beat Leviathan due to the Ashe sync off last fest and using the Awakening dream draws on Desch and Ashe. Now just Alexander and Diablos to beat. And the Wodins. And the 6* magicites of the other type. Lots of content left is what I mean to say!

I know a lot of people discovered the stock market during covid, and thats great.

But if people blatantly manipulate the market like this with any consistency there could be serious repercussions/regulations that would almost certainly be unfriendly to your everyday person.

GameStop is not worth what the market says it is worth right now and that is a problem.

Hertz was way worse than Gamestop in terms of value vs share price

Hell I'd argue Tesla is arguably worse and agree with foolmo that the rise is "reasonable" in some sense. Like if you believe Gamestop it's fine to price it as a growth stock and throw their current crummy business model out the window

The market will be fine. Maybe some people will be more cautious about short selling now but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

If you're buying long calls just buy shares imo

Buy them in 100 clumps. Sell calls when it flies at a huge premium.

I'm doing a mix of both mid duration calls and shares myself

Losing 10k in probably 60 seconds is too stressful for me. And if you had held those calls from yesterday, it would probably have been more than a 20k loss in the same time. Now of course it's a huge net gain..... but still, just too stressful! At least for me, it's much easier to handle psychologically if I never bought in the first place, vs. buying and selling too late.

Main thing that bugged me was the market halt TWICE. But the consolation was I didn't sell on the dip. It never came back enough that I would have made much more.

But my overall income graph for the day is a bit depressing

But a win is a win. I really think selling a lot of calls early to eliminate risk let me be a lot more cool headed about it

Thanks Cly it's good to know I'm not just spamming the topic. I aim to please.

If you love me I made $4000 today
If you hate me I lost $10000 today due to not being quite aggressive enough on pulling the trigger to sell (when I saw my account balance was 25k and unlimited day trading would be unlocked I said "I'm selling now" and then boom market halted)

There's something for everyone here.

There's actually nothing to be bullish on amc imo but idiots will throw money at it anyway because it has a lot of short interest. It also seems prone to moving up lots on kinda iffy news and has strong brand power. This is just GME part two but you can get in on the ground floor this time.

Also I'm using Robinhood but I've been told it's sub-optimal for this for some reason. I don't care though. It works fine for me.

If you wanna play it risky(?) you can wait for a day AMC doesn't go up a bunch to open those contracts though. Basically wait for a few stable days and the premium will go down a lot

Although least risky play is buy a bunch of AMC shares now, sell calls for next week at $4.

Repeatedly sell calls 1 week out for a little more than the current value of the stock. You'll lose out when the stock goes supernova like today but you'll make a nice little profit.

Seriously though if you want the next calculated gambling move 3/19 $5.5 calls on AMC as many as you can stomach

Sell half when the premium doubles to remove your risk. No exceptions. This is important to give you the mental fortitude to hold longer to make good profits rather than selling early.

Hold the rest as long as you can.

Should be a very easy profit. Short exploding fad will continue I'm sure.

My $42 put on GME is actually somewhat risky as I no longer have any puts on GME-- I sold that long term one as part of my call play.

I think the volatility decrease will drop the value on the put well before I am at any risk of being assigned shares though. I guess if it drops to like $40 on Monday immediately at open it's not so good! But whatever I'll just sell calls if that happens.

I mean keep in mind you could argue that growth is priced in at this point. This is a company that was hovering around the $4 level since 2019. This isn't a business that got wrecked by the Coronavirus. I'd say being bullish on GME is thinking it'll come even close to holding current values. Expecting it long term to get even higher than it is now is something beyond that.

That's why I think the long term puts are really appealing right now. Gamestop could grow over the next few years and be fairly valued at around $20/share. If you can get a $40 put you basically get free reign to sell puts forever and if it actually goes bankrupt that's just gravy.

So as I understand it GME's position is to transition into an online platform and abandon their brick and mortar shops

My only problem with that is why is there demand for that. Like what's the incentive to shop there instead of something like Amazon or Walmart or whatever. Video games aren't something where there's a lot of specialist shop appeal. It's not like a clothing store where you've got limitless design, size, etc combinations. You buy a game and it's the same thing everywhere. Maybe they're out to expand their selection of video game related merchandise but I just don't think there's enough market for that for it to have a ton of growth potential.

I'm heavily considering the $40 1/23 PUTS right now. If it hovers at around this price for long enough that my sold puts can cover it, I'm totally going for that.

It's just a speculative 5G play in a company that has low stock price and low BK risk. I guess their thing is they provide stable 5g service for GPS stuff on non-bogged down bands.

I'm mostly investing in it because cheap stocks/tech stocks have been mooning lately and this one has legit good news behind it.

https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/4-best-5g-penny-stocks-201531146.html

This article (plus the fact that it's the number one on a yahoo list of best 5g penny stocks which is going to turn heads alone) kinda explains everything there is to go on-- well that and a newly formed partnership with BATTLBOX (whatever good that is for). I do expect this one to go to $2 pretty quick. All seriousness though you should stay away you're easily going to lose 10% if you try and touch this.
