Mario Golf progress: Just unlocked the Wildweather Woods in story mode.

Man, the hammer bros are getting really tough in the practice area by this point in the game, good thing they're optional. >_>

I sort of wish XC challenge golf was an actual mode I could play on every course. Of the "challenges" so far I enjoyed it more than the plain speed golf for the other badges.

And yea, Nightmare is a very tough boss and the main reason I'll never try to do a low% run of Fusion. (also he killed me twice on my run, which were my only deaths.)

I wouldn't feel bad about taking the cart to other towns; that's literally what it's for. Wandering just looking for caves to explore is fine, but in general I like following the quests more.

In mid-chapter 5 on Bug Fables right now.

I feel like badge points are really good in this game; but not right away. It takes about half the game to get to the really good badges, as most of the early badges aren't that good. But by this point; I've got enough badges I want to use that every badge point I throw in is a good call. (admittedly, I have an hp up badge on everyone like, all the time, so I could easily take 2 levels of HP without effectively losing badge points... I might do that with my next two level ups, idk.)

I've been clearing basic enemy encounters in one round without expending more than the 4 tp the victory buzz badge gives and it feels so good, enough so that I took off the Bug Me Not badge to continue actually fighting the encounters even though it's just 1 experience.

It does let you retry if it's a boss fight.

I had a good session with New Pokemon snap with a close friend, taking turns on all the stages leveling them up and whatnot.

Ok, made it to the last stage again...

The first time I spared all bosses and was knocked out by Terra's super form

The second time, I killed Terra beforehand and fought the gate. I beat the gate. However, after that, some overpowered Angel came out, said I had too much LOV, and Murdered me twice without me even getting to do so much as move. ... was that supposed to be an ending?

Anyway, I just looked at my stats page; that apparently counted as a Victory, so I'll take my point!

I might give it one or two more goes before it's June where I am but I'm probably not going to manage it.

Got my first clear with Tainted Jacob, after a first floor shop with eraser and mod spider (exploded easu in the shop for the money, easy donation machine robbing). That made erasing easu super easy floor 2, sadly no delirium fought only Mega Satan, but golden trinkets are good stuff.

..Man paying attention to boss rush, there's a LOT of attacks that are basically "Jump from off screen and land on Isaac". How the hell do people do that shit as The Lost?

You're also relatively safe from that sort of attack when on top of rocks. In that when you're on top of rocks, often the monsters that do that sort of attack where they jump won't know where you are to jump on you, so they won't.

Anyway, I started up a tainted lost run; and floor 1 library with both the Book of Shadows and the Book of Virtues... that was basically a won run right there, but the second floor angel room had Godhead, and it kept snowballing from there. I ended up clearing the boss rush due to finding Mama Mega on Depths 2, and went on after and cleared out The Beast! He and the ultra horsemen were MELTED.
