hah. probably sweelt pototols though I may be mixing them up.

Day 2 was very interesting; had to pay 6000 geo for my final dreamer (pale king's fountain), and then though I'd be done by taking on the final boss without focus or directional slashes. Nope! Gotta use focus at the very end of the fight.

Have the full shade cloak to go with my full claw, swim, and tear, but I cleaned out everything I though I could. Also picked up both right and left slash somewhere, which made even Grimm doable without focus.

DKC3; I've used bonus coins to unlock two more levels; though earned nothing super from them iirc.

Got about a hundred checks in DKC3, and having an interesting time in HK figuring out what I can get with left-dash, left-claw, and isma's tear. Also having some interesting boss fights without focus or any directional slashes but down, but desolate dive does plenty of damage to get through most things.

I'm considering trying out DKC3.

I also have access to Factorio and The Witness now, but I haven't finished either yet the vanilla way so I'll hold off on trying their randos.

I convinced my nephew to take up one of the free minecraft slots in the massive 600-slot rando (he just needs stuff to ko the wither right now), and he's expressed interest in doing a hollow knight one with a smaller group. I'll submit a yaml for him and if he ends up flaking when it comes to this weekend, I'll do it.

Given airman's pattern, I'm pretty sure I can say yes, dk would have that chance. In Airman's boss chamber, he blows three rounds of tornadoes before jumping to the other corner, where MegaMan would be due to the air. Airman would certainly be vulnerable to a good punch if Donkey Kong can position himself where Airman would land, and given his AI includes jumping towards his target, I don't give Airman much of a chance here.

I believe I'm a Wheel and a Diamond Eye from starting the endgame in Secret of Evermore, but Levitate or a Knight Basher would also get me checks.

OoT is slow because it has a lot of checks locked behind a combination of other checks, like a lot a lot.
