I keep watching for this damn Amiibo but it always sells out when I'm not looking or asleep. Ugh, WTF is wrong with Nintendo understocking Amiibo so much nowadays?! You put a major QoL behind this amiibo, sell it for 25 bucks and don't even stock enough of it that it lasts longer than an hour (now less than 10 minutes!?)

I know toys to life are dead but the Monster Hunter Amiibo and this one are way too hard to get. (also why the fuck did they make the MH Amiibo Gamestop exclusive)

It's probably more retailers don't want any Toys to Life because of the huge crash of Skylanders/Disney Infinity/Lego Demensions and even Amiibo themselves (Animal Crossing) that Nintendo treads safe with the bare minimum for a profit.

It sucks but I get why they're doing it. Though I think they're also blaming the BotW Champion amiibo collecting dust because they made too many of those, but they should have known those guys are semi-obscure compared to Zelda herself.

It's mostly Smash Bros. keeping Amiibo going because it's like building real life trophy displays seen in Melee/Brawl/4. When Smash DLC ends that's probably when Amiibo ends. It's pretty weird seeing new non Smash Amiibo these days even if it is Mario/Zelda ones but I welcome them still. Monster Hunter makes a lot of figurines too so I guess it's pretty easy to cooperate with Nintendo on that one (fuck the Gamestop exclusivity though)

Also they might be continuing Amiibo because Labo was such a flop their toy division would rather stick with what has a fanbase over what... doesn't.
