It's crazy how archaic no saving is for a game like Sonic the Hedgehog. And I don't know the stages by heart like the Mario games I grew up with, so, suffice it to say...

it's pretty difficult to get through.

Had a blast with the first few levels of Cuphead today; taking out the first run&gun and the root-pack with my brother while he was here for some christmas festivities, and the slime and constellation lady solo (he's not that hot on hard/frustrating games, but I kinda eat them up.)

The frogs that transform into a slot machine keep getting me though.

Dishonored is always a game I wanted to get around to playing but never did. I love Bioshock and I've heard good things about Dishonored but I've just never gotten around to it.

It definitely looks gorgeous and has a great atmosphere. Im just having trouble seeing how the stealth will work at all.

I've decided my first two nominations.

First is Adventures of Lolo - this game holds a very special place in my childhood, important enough to me to use it as my name here. With its switch online release, there's a simple way to access it now legally.

My second will be Celeste, as a game I think someone else has tried nominating before that wasn't picked. It's something I've tried before but didn't get far and have heard too many good things about to put it off for much longer.

I like second chance very much, and honestly, would love to see this happen most months. People will have a reason to talk up their nominations then, and help us get excited for them, and when one is chosen this way it's very likely to get at least 2 completions.
Leap of faith is a good way to do holiday months or themed ones, but I wouldn't want these to happen more often than the special things this year.

And one thing I really need to stress because scanners really screwed it up this game. You have to scan the people you arent sure of. Don't scan the people you think are scum. Don't scan the people you think are town. Scan the people you dont have the slightest clue on.

I think I should rework how I trust people and actually fucking read the game like I did on day 2... To be fair; my surgery was on the day this game started; was stuck to my phone all day 1 (why mostly questions, I was trying to keep myself focused), was low on blood through day 2... work started back up by day 3's end and having 56hrs/week when it's not requested put me on a low drive by the end of today.

so yeah.
