I'm fine if there are side quests full of those, but the 3rd game had General White levels of mandatory backtracking. And it wasn't just in one chapter, but the entire game.

I think 2 is my favorite game because it did everything 3 did right but had a more concise structure.

Is the online battling even good?

Despite my love for the series, how many hours I played it, how many times I replayed the games, all of them to completion...I never tried multiplayer as I used emulators (and for online unlocks I used the emulator version with the "link cable" compatibiltiy or cheats)
From videos I saw it looked like a mess. Chips that stop time every single second, waiting for the opponent to choose the chips before your turn can start etc

I didnt play it but from what I read about it was less "spam canon on fast moving opponent" and more "activate combo that destroys every panel in opponent field and deals 5000 damage in 1 second before opponent does the same to you"

Dunno how fun that is, though. I'd like to find out.

Wish list-
-Remove the panic music after you beat certain games (I think 4 and 6 had this problem)
-Restore the Internet color in MMBN3 after you beat the game
-Restore the cut content of MMBN6, including maps (it's so stupid that they removed them)
-Give MMBN1 the option to run away from battles like in OOS
-Won't happen but I would like a turbo button (to make the game run faster)
-Make it that losing HP in MMBN4 from using a Dark Chip ia not permenant

That's all for now I think
Those are all minor tweaks besides the MMBN6 thing

disco inferno is a classic

multiplayer is a lot of freeze chips and interruptions and weird metas you won't see in the base-game (you probably wouldn't see them used by most people anyway)

you could do online netbattling for like a decade already

As a huge Mega Man fan, I've never played any of the BN games (unless you count Network Transmission on Gamecube...which was a great game!). So I'm pretty excited to get this. Seems like they are doing an awesome job with it.

IIRC it was refering to Videoman operator, who is non-binary so...they probably did this on purpose
Whether this is considered transphobe or something I don't know, but I feel like they know what they were doing
