I spent so much time as a kid playing Mario Kart 64 and Double Dash with my mom, and every new entry in the series would have me hooked for a minimum of 50 hours or so. At some point though I've sort of started getting bored of it. Don't really play it as much as I used to, it just isn't as exciting as it used to be. To say I "outgrew" Mario Kart wouldn't be quite right, but maybe I kinda did? yeah this is me too, not just with Mario Kart but with Smash too I think part of it is that I'm not huge into online play and I don't really have anyone to play locally with, so it's hard for me to stay hooked on it for long. --- |

She already seemed to really be enjoying it before we got there though! Based on her reactions to the characters from when we were watching, she seems to really like Dr. Cox and the Janitor the most so far. --- |

There doesn't seem to be any way of saying you don't really beat the game if you cheat without coming off as condescending apparently well when he says "you have by no stretch of the imagination beaten the game" there's little room to argue it's not coming across as a condescending gatekeeper mentality he may not be telling you "how to play the game" but he's basically saying he doesn't accept your terms if you don't beat it his way --- |
