| Itachi157 09/12/17 12:04:21 AM #1 | The ones that force you to start the whole battle/cutscene over if you mess up are annoying but I like the ones during boss fights/regular fights that alter the scene slightly and maybe cause you to take or do a little damage depending on whether or not you passed it. I'm specifically thinking of the ones during Yakuza series boss battles. It feels cool as hell when you nail those. What do you guys think of them in general (I'm mostly talking about using them during games that aren't all QTEs like Telltale stuff) |

I need to be forced into doing something at a set time. Then I can get things going. I've done all self-study, I can definitely see what you mean though by a classroom setting helping. I'd still check out some other resources on the side besides whatever textbook they give you. If you don't want to shoot past your class in terms of progress, maybe not though. I thought about taking Japanese in my final year of college (I took Spanish in HS and first years of college to fulfill the requirements) when I was nearly graduating and needed just like 10 units of any subject to graduate and was basically taking miscellaneous classes, but it was like a 5 unit class and was M-F or something and I was like screw that, I'm not committing to that much work when I'm almost done. Then I started learning like....two years after that on my own. |
