Its not really anything special, its just a fast train. But its not like woah were going so fast! levels of fast. At least it has free wi-fi.

In anime news I finally watched the first episode of Stone Ocean on the plane. However the whole plane ride feels like a mental haze now so I will probably have to rewatch it.

It seems like I have access to Japanese Netflix now, is Spy Family on the US service?

I watched Edgerunners before playing Cyberpunk 2077 and I thought there was no way V could beat David Martinez, but I'm like 30 hours into the game now and I'm pretty sure my V would wreck him in a couple seconds, lol. You can get pretty ridiculous in that game.

Was that Yakuza Babysitting show worth watching? I got bored during the episode about live-streaming and never watched more.

Did you read the manga or the VN? I would prefer VN but if the manga is way better or something then I guess I would read it

tfw I didn't watch Rozen Maiden remake because Hinaichigo gets killed off in the first episode even though that was probably because of VA issues since Sakura Nogawa is basically out of the industry due to health issues

Iori's my second favorite OG iM@S after Yayoi. Also best main character in Xenoglossia for entirely different reasons.

I like them all more or less. Suiseiseki was my favorite back when I first found the series in like 2006-ish but that was probably influenced by her then-meme status. Upon a rewatch I found her a little shrill and annoying. Not to the level that she was unlikeable though.

I would say Shinku is my favorite now. I have a couple figures of her but one is pretty old and the other is kind of cheap.

Yep. Going to a game this upcoming Friday too.

Only Persona game I platinum'd was Royal and that's because it was super easy.

Honestly, I think there won't really be. All of the major powerful (militarily) countries are allied with each other. Apart from a crazy break in relations/alliances, what would the "sides" even be? NATO vs who? Russia has proven to be a non-factor. People will say China but I feel like they are likely a paper tiger militarily just like Russia was. And even if they weren't, they would fold very quickly attempting to combat the combined forces of NATO or even the US alone. People will bring up "lol lost to guys in caves with AK-47s" but the US is still massively above any other country in conventional war, which I'm thinking most people will imagine WW3 to be.

inb4 what about nukes, they won't ever be used that easily or readily. Basically to sum it up, I doubt there will be a conventional "WW3" because there's no one to even fight that would last more than a week. All of the main opponents to the US/NATO besides China are very weak militarily (Iran, Cuba, North Korea, etc.)

I'm not saying a military conflict couldn't break out, but it would be way short and not really worthy of being called "World War 3".

We fought a war 300 years ago but we are very close allies now. Showing respect by flying the flag at half-staff doesn't mean we are giving up independence and joining the UK, lol.

Looks like I definitely gotta play 6 and Like a Dragon before this then. I didn't recognize half of those new faces. I only played 0-5 previously (which allowed me to recognize everyone in the original Ishin). I gotta say the original Hanpeita and Kondo had a lot of charisma, even if they weren't "played" by RGG characters. Sucks to see them gone.

I played the Japanese one fully through not even a year ago. Bad timing on my part.

Watching the trailer, they completely changed the Shinsengumi members. A lot seem to be "played" by different characters than in the original.

My younger cousin is a massive Komi fan, so I ended up watching S1 because of her. It was okay.

In return, she watched Madoka Magica (and really liked it), so imo it was worth it lol

That's cool that you were able to share that with her- on that subject, does anyone else's family members (extended or immediate) have an interest in anime?

Me and my younger sister used to watch quite a bit together in the early-mid 2000s when we were in middle school and high school. We watched a ton of Inuyasha, along with bits and pieces of a lot of shows that would air on Toonami and Adult Swim. She also watched Death Note on her own and collected manga here and there. However she completely lost interest eventually.

A few years back when we were both bored I put Attack on Titan on on Netflix to see if it would catch her interest but I could tell her attention was waning big time during the second episode so I think I just got the hint and switched it to something else, lol
