It's definitely weird that when a prisoner is released from serving time for a murder they aren't required to have the community informed of such a thing ahead of time. Nothing like the "no coming in contact with kids" rules either AFAIK beyond maybe release conditions forbidding them from seeing former associates/ gang members/ whatever. But a guy who murdered a frail old lady robbing her? Nothing says he can't go talk to any old ladies he wants once he's released AFAIK.

to be fair, most murders are like "crimes of passion". Its not a way of thinking for most people. Its like a things went wrong thing.

Pit Bulls arent more dangerous than any other dog breed. If you dont train or train a dog like shit then it will have behavioral problems.

I just think people shouldn't leave dogs alone with kids. Pitbulls aren't more prone to this than other types of dogs.

They need to stop passing these bully/mastiff bandogs off as Pit Bulls. These dogs are larger than a lot of actual mastiffs, very little terrier.

The people have said he's pit and a bull dog. I always thought they were mastiffs too but i watched an interview years ago on facebook where they mentioned his breed

Right, actual pit bull terriers. The issue is that many dogs that are actual pit bulls are whats increasing the number. Which is why the attacks are always said to be done by pit bulls.

People cant tell the difference between dogs like the American Bulldog and Pitbull. The reputation that Rottweilers had is the same rep that pit bulls have now.

Not all of them are deemed "too agressive" and you never know which of them are ticking time bombs. Everyone's dog never hurt anything until it does. Pounds can and will adopt out dogs with caveats like "no cats" or even "no kids"

I've volunteered for my local shelter. They don't put out dogs that are deemed dangerous. Those caveats are made to help the dog and the family ease into a new situation with as much little stress as possible. Putting an animal into a new situation is very stressful for them.

Dogs are animals and don't adapt to stress the way humans do.

You realize that dogs that are put in shelters/pounds are put down if they are too aggressive right?

My dad had a german shepherd that had to go to the shelter and she was so aggressive they had no choice but to put her down. She couldnt be around other dogs or people.

Well pitbulls are one of the most common dogs in the US. Of course the numbers are gonna be higher.

Also never leave your dog alone with your kids. Kids are notoriously bad with dogs and dogs are terroritorial.

My dog loves everyone and has never been aggressive towards a person but I wouldn't trust her around kids. They always pet her wrong or try to touch her eyes or tail.

also, no one likes wearing masks but most rational adults understand its the best thing to keep people safe next to the vaccines and social distancing.

I hate wearing my mask because it tugs on my ears and fogs up my glasses but i dont mind doing it for a short while to protect myself and others.

its not unaddressed. He and the people around him are aware of it but his bipolar medication hinders his creativity so he doesnt take them. The people around him are just yes men who let him do and say what he wants.

The errands thing you're just gonna have to suck up and do like once or twice a month.

its not like "hey, lets go to this farmers market" or something like that. She thinks that real couples go grocery shopping together. Which doesnt make sense because i get my groceries delivered for free so i dont go to the store which she knows and we dont live together.

If she was like "hey run with me to Target or Ikea" i'd be fine with. Its some weird hangup like if we dont run mundane errands together we arent a real couple

To be fair to the Sims you dont have to get any of the DLC and you dont miss much. Their big updates are always free too. The game has been constantly updated for 8 years. There's going to be a lot to purchase

Well, she makes a lot of life decisions i dont agree with.

Also, im not the type to "make a day" out of running errands. I just do them and go do what i want to do. She thinks that real couples run errands together and its not a we dont spend enough time together kinda thing either because we see each other a lot and go do stuff.

We also have different views on kids and marriage that have come up recently which is a big one. Also, she cant cook which bugs me because i feel like every adult should have a basic sense of cooking.

I watched 1 and 2 (conan and marshawn) so far. It's quirky and goofy but I kinda wish they would let the scenes linger for a bit longer. I feel like all the cuts are really noticeable and the whole thing feels stapled together rather than more like a natural improv scene. Feels like they're basically letting the guest say CUT and then give them time to devise a line or something.

i didnt mind it. It felt to me like they just let them go for it and edited out the shit improv and kept what was best.

Will Arnett was a perfect choice because he carried it for me

Youve said before that youre half white, so that reminded me of something I used to ponder. A lot of us mixed ancestry types have backgrounds that make these discussions slippery from the start. Maybe thats why some people get upset when they do those DNA tests and are surprised theyve got a lot of European ancestry. Im guessing they dont Iike the idea of getting angry at themselves.

because my mom raised me to believe that even though I'm half the world will still see myself as a black person. I'm not any culturally less black than I am white/Italian but no one ever called me anything negative about being half white/Italian. I've been called the n-word a whole bunch though by racists.

I agree, though that doesn't change the fact that it's considered socially acceptable for black people to say it, regardless of context, and I'm wondering why that is.

Because black people were murdered under that word and we recaptured its usage to form a bond with other members of the black culture to show solidarity while America was persecuting us for just our existence
