First game is a solid survival horror experience. Only recommend if you're comfortable playing with a controller though, the pc controls are awful.

Third game is a silly co-op romp with a cool weapon crafting system. The story is nonsense and all pretense of horror is gone, so don't expect anything on that front.

Second game is comparable to the first but not as good. Play it after the first game if you want more of the same.

Excellent. Does 1 or 2 have any crafting or is it like RE1 & RE2 type survival horror?

I once saw a turtle crossing the street, and my girl thought we should drive back and save it.
