Why do cops want their cities to get sued and lose a lot of money from the resulting lawsuits?

She vwas not arrested because of her shirt. It sounded like she said she had a permit to be there but then refused to show it to them. I think once she had cameras on her she was looking to get arrested.

she got arrested because the trump campaign requested that she be arrested

https://bit.ly/2V4fG8H

there was no reason for these cops to even approach her. She is sitting on the ground

"Officers at the location, particularly in the 'Sterile' area, will remove individuals only at the direction of Campaign Staff."
Remove doesn't mean arrest. She was removed upon request by campaign staff. Once that request was made she was trespassing. So the cops had reason to approach and remove her. She was arrested for refusing to comply with an order from the police and leave on her own. She was not arrested because of her shirt.

Something theatrical about this whole thing.

I grew up with MTVs Road Rules, The Real World, True Life, etc. And this clip along with the one of the CNN anchor getting arrested all have the same fake reality vibe to them.

Im not trying to peddle conspiracy theories. All Im saying is that Im getting a bad acting vibe.

It doesn't matter why they asked to have her removed. It's still not the reason she was arrested.

The campaign staff asked to have her removed. Thus revoking her ticket. I don't know why she thought having a ticket would protect her after the campaign staff decided not to honor it. Following that, she refused to leave on her own which lead to the arrest.

So the root cause of all this is a shirt.

So she was arrested because of a shirt.

It's a significant distinction.
She wore the shirt and refused to leave so she got arrested.
Had she worn the shirt and complied she would not be arrested.
Had she been removed for another reason and refused she would be arrested.

As you can see the compliance or refusal is the determiner and the shirt is irrelevant.

Except it's not. You can be asked to leave a business or venue for any reason and, if you refuse, the cops get involved and, if you refuse again, you're arrested. You don't get arrested for the reason you were asked to leave, you were arrested for ignoring multiple requests to leave and a warning that you'd be arrested if you failed to comply. And if you want a reason why she was arrested, it's because she chose to be arrested as part of a protest act since she wanted attention.

why should you comply with police requests during a protest about unreasonable police?

Isn't that like if during the pre-French revolution if poor people walked up to the gates and said "the king and queen suck" and then put themselves in the guillotine?

It's irrelevant to the actual legality of her actions. It's the only determining factor in her ejection from the event, though, which is what's really being mocked here. The bottom line is that Trump and his lot couldn't handle her shirt because they're a bunch of pathetic man-children and then proceeded to have her forcibly removed from the area. That this doesn't constitute a violation of the first amendment or any such things doesn't change how pitiful and sad their fragile egos are.

Thats like saying someone died from blood loss after being shot. But they didnt die from the bullet
She was ordered to be removed because of the shirt.
she was arrested for not leaving. She shouldnt have had to leave in the first place considering she had a ticket. I dont know why you acting like thats all fine.

Scrolled pretty far and didnt see anything. If she was smart she wouldve done her little protest on the outside of the venue and not inside.

Eh, I wouldn't go that far. There's ample precedent for ejecting paying customers in other circumstances, like kicking out a group of rowdy kids from a movie theatre for making too much noise and disturbing other customers. If she were, say, loudly playing a vevuzula every time Trump tried to speak, ejecting her would have been reasonable even with the ticket because that's just disruptive. The issue isn't that she was ejected despite her ticket, it's that she was ejected for merely wearing a shirt that disturbed the trumpets' fragile safe space.
