IIRC that was in the early stages of the bot before there were any bot contests. I think it was in the regular SMFFFC topics but the bot was only activated after rounds were over. GMUN might have also made a special topic for it.

also a specific trigger was that somebody set bot to be my own alt, so it got passed the "is a bot" check

it was never an issue before because like Mothra or whoever would be identified by bots, but that account was registered as my own personal alt so bot would convert it to GuessMyUserName and think hey that's not a bot post!

so the chain could've been broken if somebody summoned Mothra back

so much contest bot progress without actually doing any testing aaaaaaaaaaa it's wracking my brain

I believe I've programed starting rounds, telling bot to then start scanning rounds, how to read & log saves, how to end a round when only the elimated remains, and how to set bot to then start the next round (although nothing about handling finals yet, thus how to ultimately end a contest), and soooo many little functions in between like converting the time a save was made to my hour-neutral "a5433" format

but not yet how keep track of its progress within a round or how to respond before the round ends

I don't have a sample contest set up yet either that's another reason I can't actually test what I'm writing yet so boy there's gonna be a lot of debugging tomorrow but for today I'm tired

I feel like bond fans would not like this but I can't say most these movies could hold my attention

I know Die Another Day is hated but like that's the line where I can really remember a significant amount of the movie (although it's also the only movie I remember seeing before)

Skyfall was a bit disappointing after all the hype, I think it started really well with the assassination in Shanghai, villain was decent and reminded me a lot of GoldenEye, but then uh the end is so silly I ended up thinking "... really?", like when their position is given away by the flashlight

Casino Royale was a reallllly good opening for Daniel Craig although I felt it still dropped the ball I was really excited for the rest of his movies but that was actually the height. Though of course Brosnan never gets to the height of GoldenEye either but that was A+

I remember hitting Bond reboots and wondering if we'd ever get a return to the goofier characters like Jaws & Oddjob but awh nope. Obviously it doesn't fit for the Craig movies but I would've died. Then again, modern Blofeld sucked.
