latest batch of Shaman King episodes

I've always loved the original series although honestly completely blank out the back half of it but this series I'm a lot more engaged with.

current batch though kinda dragged a bit... and when you look at the overall plot of what's actually accomplished with these episodes it's uhhh lackluster for sure

okay when you tip your hand this hard on the fact you're just a troll who's just doing this intentionally that's when I gotta block

my brain keep trying to read that as Mary Elizabeth joins instead [of] Rosario Dawson

whoops forgot to come back, I definitely would've gotten Shang-Chi with that last update

I like that this episode confirms there's more to it than just that

That Fennec was initially resistant/skeptical, accepted their one mission to clear the debt and that's it, but decides to stay entirely on her own after hearing Boba's ambitions and relating the experience as hunters sent out to die for idiots

'cause yeah in just the Mando appearance it seemed much simpler: he saved my life now I owe him my life

what's wild is that Ming Na Wen is only a couple years younger than Morrison

although Fennec Shand should be around that age too since she was an active bounty hunter around the time of Order 66 (Bad Batch appearance)... if we assume that to be around 20y/o then she'd be at least 50 now

First episode was weak for me but 2nd was great, I didn't mind the 3rd, this week's cool

I actually like the characterization of Boba and I'm glad he's not OP or anything... but I will say yeahh they could definitely do better with making him look actually competent at least. Hopefully now that the show seems to be focusing on present-day and being healed he can start kicking into gear

I liked her in her solo film actually but the issue with her in everything else is she's treated like a "break the glass in case off emergency" panic button and doesn't really get involved with the team

Really liked this ep, although it really feels like they could've just done the show til here chronologically rather than the really uneven juggling between flashback and present.

Wasn't really expecting Boba to be living with the Tuskens these whole 5 years until Fennec, kinda puts some more meaning with his time with them as a more significant turning point though, as he says he was prepared to leave hunting. Also confirms a few fan theories about the last episode taking place at the same time as Mando's, with the Stormtrooper mask on pikes and Peli being seen walking with her pit droids in the background.

Seeing a lot of complaints for this episode but I really liked it? I mean it's no ep2 but easily more entertaining than the first, and it's finally pulling the flashbacks with present day for a proper antagonist force. Pykes are definitely the ones responsible for murdering the Tuskens, and now they're clearly the big guns moving in on Tatooine - which I'm all hyped to finally see Pykes portrayed as threatening, since so far throughout Star Wars shows they're talked up big but never show it well.

Boba waking up from his bacta tank to a Black K attack I loved, they've been showing Boba wake up peacefully so often I've just been so conditioned think all is well but then bam WOOKIE. I've seen complaints on the cybernetics gang being a buncha 2000s biker teens, and yeah their design isn't great but I like Boba settling the dispute with the water farmer gouging prices.
