I've recently gotten way into One Piece, myself, but I'm kind of picking it up late in the run and letting flashbacks and theory videos from YouTube fill me in on the details as I go.

It's really good shit that I'm glad I picked back up after years of letting it slide on by.

When we play in person, one of our players brings the Eye of Agamotto from the Doctor Strange movie to use as his spell casting focus. It's battery powered and opens up with a green light inside, just like the movie.

Props and costume pieces are fun stuff, they celebrate the characters, and they lend to the immersion of the players, I say do it.

Advent Rising has some incredibly beautiful music.

Does this play like Vampire Survivors?

It's kinda similar, but it's got small arenas and there's a buying/selling mechanic for items instead of just randomly getting something with each level up.

I played it for a little while a few months ago, had my fill of it and shelved it. Kinda want to go back and knock another chunk out of my completion rate.

Gaming 'journalists' already do this, too. I feel like when your job is to cover entertainment, you can basically say whatever you want because it's not like it actually has any strong impact on the world.

Yeah, he's from Storm Revolutions, which was kind of an in-between filler game to bridge the gap between Storm 3 and Storm 4.

I'm surprised they brought him back, but I suppose he had some pretty fun and unique animations so it'd be a shame to waste him on one game barely anybody bought.

Some will, some won't. I never got involved in the romance stuff since I mostly played in a 4-person player group with my gf and a couple of our D&D friends.

Bless is probably not a good example since it only lasts 10 turns but yeah true, make sure you're not concentrating on something important.

I only use that as an example since one of the things you can add from the roll menu is bless, but it overlaps guidance and still uses the spell slot.

use Guidance for every skill check

One small thing to note, though, is that Guidance is a concentration spell. If that character is concentrating on something else, like bless, then using guidance will remove bless.

Soundtrack being just ok is a take

I never played the game but I bought an actual honest to God physical CD of a soundtrack made of covers.

Play how you want, save often, and get creative. Combat is very versatile, and if there's something in the environment that looks like you can use it to your advantage, you probably can.

Also don't stress too much about class choice or ability scores, as you can redo your levels for a fairly small price (on any character, including party members, though changing their classes might make their social and story interactions feel less fitting, so keep that in mind)

Point being? It's a wide open game with tons and tons of choices that happen very often, and big or small things can have significant impacts for how things play out.

You saw it?

It's incredible.

It's an okay game with a great soundtrack and one of the most annoying fandoms in the world.

Soulless remakes are soulless, as it turns out

The less time you spend coding a bunch of characters, the more time you have to actually flesh out the gameplay. The best fighting games don't have anywhere close to a 100 playables, wtf

I know you're Scotty and you aren't arguing in good faith, but most of the characters in these games are already made and have been carried forward from previous games in the series. The most they tend to get are some balance tweaks and maybe a few animation improvements.

He was an original character added to I think Storm 4, and there was a filler episode of Shippuden that promoted him.

It was Storm Revolution, an in between game after 3 and preceding 4 that had an arena fighting gimmick and an "original story" dealing with robot Naruto

They just keep the older versions then make a new one for each game, which leads to some serious Naruto and Sasuke bloat

My gf and I loved the first season of Shadow and Bone. It was definitely our style. We hadn't gotten around to finishing season 2 yet, but we had it on our list for sure.

They only settle on planets with breathable air, obviously.
