Oh. I took it as more spur of the moment at that point, like he would have refrained if he could have but was prepared to do it if it came to that. Still, they could have even written it as Otis sacrificing himself to save Carl out of guilt if they wanted to and my thoughts on Shane would be the same. I don't blame him for it. I mostly saw both sodes when it came to his conflicts with Rick, but I leaned toward Shane... and his conflicts with Dale and Herschel, I was definitely in the Shane camp. He made one decision I disagreed with in the back half of season 2 but I won't specify until I know you've seen it.

That is how I remember it as well. As for Otis, well... shooting Carl was an accident but in all likelihood Shane wouldn't have done what he did if not for that, and it seemed like he wasn't planning to fuck Otis over. The situation got desperate and Shane just thought "well you did shoot Carl so fuck you" in the heat of the moment. That's how I interpreted it at the time. I wouldn't have done it but I don't hate Shane for it.

He knew leaving a comment like that even towards a fake 14 year old user will get responses saying thats questionable behavior, you would have to be an idiot to think people wouldn't call you out on that even if it was a joke, somethings you dont joke about. Choco took back what he said, and I appreciate it. Choco is a good user and I care what he thinks. In spite of what you have been saying, I would say the same about you. I find it very unfortunate that you have bought into bullshit against me, but it is what it is. You and Choco do not qualify as "everyone." The other users who are talking shit do not mean anything to me. They have personal grievances and in some cases would not even be able to directly address me at all if I was not on an alt. I don't have any personal sense of obligation to regard their opinions of me, because ai have no reason to (and every reason not to) regard their views on me to be based on reality or anything even remotely related to it. Oh... in hindsight, add CanuckCowboy to the list of people who have opinions that matter to me. I don't know where he is coming from, but I've always gotten along with him and his cat is awesome, so his posts here are disappointing... but still, that makes 3 of you. It wasn't a long con though. I got the gaslight responses in under a minute and I took under a minute to reply. If any archive sites exist, it is well documented. I thought that would have been enough for people to be like "this is bait..." I misjudged how low the bar was.

It was around the time where a lot of people were questioning that user and their identity and motivations, and I thought "what bullshit could I bait people into?" and it seemed like a fun idea at the time. I did regret it. I don't care about the blocking. I have no reason to further interact with that person, but objectively it was a bad idea that I should have thought better of. I mentioned that only once or twice back then so most people probably never saw anything about it.
