Since none of them are able to offer up a different solution that both protects innocent, unarmed children and preserves 2nd Amendment rights, Ill do it for them. This one should be better suited to the fringe right: A massive push for increasing police presence. Hire police specially trained in protecting schools and other targeted public spaces. Staff the schools with two full-time officers, increase on-grounds surveillance so they can monitor the property. If you enjoy those kinds of games, and you go into it not expecting the second coming of the platforming genre, its a solid game. Pretty challenging on the harder difficulty, too. Renewed at least once every 5 years. Im required to have insurance coverage on any vehicle I own. Insurance which covers death and disfigurement, as well as the usual protections for vehicles and property. Whether I were to kill someone with my vehicle accidentally or intentionally, or if someone were to borrow or steal my vehicle and go out and kill someone, my insurance may have to provide restitution. All of this, so I can drive a tractor trailer. Constitution protects the right to bear arms. Okay. I see no reason not to regulate guns much in the same way cars and trucks are regulated. People can still own and purchase firearms to their hearts desire. Gun owners should be required to carry insurance for each individual gun they own. You want a full blown arsenal? Fine. Just pay the hundreds or thousands of dollars required to insure each weapon, every year. Have all the guns you can afford. Physicals, including mental health evaluations, every two years. TSA threat assessments once every 5 years. If truckers have to do this, I see no reason why gun owners shouldnt. You dont pass your evaluation, local police are notified and confiscate all firearms until you can provide proper certification showing youve passed your screening. But muh Constitution! Hold up. No one is saying you cant have your guns. You just have to prove that youre capable and responsible enough to own them. But what about people who own guns illegally? Dumb argument. Many of these mass shootings are perpetrated by lawful gun owners. Not to mention, the fact that you cant prevent all of something bad happening doesnt mean you should do nothing about it. My two cents. I know some of you will disagree. Im not going to argue. This makes sense to me. Some guy jacking off while driving. Lady driving while eating food from a take-out carton... with chopsticks. No hands on the wheel, one hand on the carton and the other using the chopsticks. Woman giving a dude road head, kneeling in the passenger seat, completely bent over wearing no pants, with her ass and vagina on full display out the passenger side window. Countless people reading books, magazines, open laptops... not so strange I guess, but it's something I couldn't consider doing while driving. A body that had been ejected from a vehicle laying in the middle of the highway. Got there right as the state police were shutting down the highway, they put a sheet over the body. The artificial demand that has been introduced by commercilalizing everything is still artificial as long as you find a like-minded partner.
