Sorry this is so late getting up. I had planned to do it yesterday but with the **** that went down in our country I honestly completely forgot. So in case we have any new people to the playoffs, the way this will work is that the top 4 get a bye, while the rest of us plebs have to pick the WC games, and the top 4 pickers of the 8 will advance along with the people on bye to the next rd, and we keep cutting in half. There will be TIEBREAKERS so please pick those! As with last week, they are sequential, so I only use 2 or 3 if 1 or 2 are tied between multiple people.

For the picks, as I am in this competition, please DM your picks to @WiggumFan267.

Saturday, January 9th
1 PM ET
Indianapolis Colts @ Buffalo Bills
4:30 PM
Los Angeles Rams @ Seattle Seahawks
8 PM
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Washington Football Team

Sunday, January 10th
1 PM ET
Baltimore Ravens @ Tennessee Titans
4:30 PM
Chicago Bears @ New Orleans Saints
8 PM
Cleveland Browns @ Pittsburgh Steelers

TIEBREAKERS
1. Which team will win by the largest amount this week?
2. Which team will accrue the most rushing yards this week?
3. How many receiving yards will the player with the most receiving yards log in Cleveland/Pittsburgh?

Looking over it, all 4 of the top users scored more than the leading scorer last season who had 173. Kinda surprising imo considering how much of a cluster F this season was!

So as I said before, the playoffs will be top 12 plus ties! HOWEVER, the top 4 still get a bye for the WC round, so a Tiebreak is still needed for that. So if you're in contention or just feel like it, please pick the tiebreakers!

The top picker this week was crazyisgood with 13 wins! It was a higher overall week, most people got 10+ wins. Everyone who rightly switched off CAR got it right. The biggest upset was NYJ but literally no one picked them, so instead the biggest upset was SF with 1 pick over ARZ! Good job chriswar22!

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Indianapolis Colts
Los Angeles Chargers @ Kansas City Chiefs
Arizona Cardinals @ Los Angeles Rams
Seattle Seahawks @ San Francisco 49ers
New Orleans Saints @ Carolina Panthers
Tennessee Titans @ Houston Texans

8 PM
Washington Football Team @ Philadelphia Eagles

TB1: How many yards will the most yards passing be this week? (IE Will 402 yards lead the week, or 250, etc)
TB2: How many yards will the most yards rushing be this week? (See above)

TB1 is the primary factor, TB2 is only used if there's somehow a tie with TB1.

Looooool, come on dude no better time to learn!

Also, I'm curious. This season, someone could go undefeated and end up with not the most wins in a season in nba history. But say someone went like...67-5, or close to it or something. How would that be compared to 73-9? Is there a number other than perfect that you could say was unequivocally the best regular season of all time? What is your opinion personally and how do you think the basketball community as a whole would treat it?

Me and some buds entered RLCS in rocket league and won a couple games one time. We also had another time where we took a game off the team that ended up winning the whole division and we were the only team to do so.

I also went to an official GF pokemon tournament in gen 5, but lost first round cause of a stupid critical hit.

I had a discussion with a friend today and it really got me thinking, and wondering if my approach to these things is right. I guess I'm looking for validation if I'm straight up. For the first thing anyway, the 2nd thing is probably more opinion than anything.

For starters, what is your stance on I guess, correct "protocol" for just like giving to someone on the street if you are approached by someone? I'm not asking for whether you do or not personally, I'm not here to shame anyone that doesn't. But like, the specifics of my discussion was that I personally have a policy where I am more than willing to get the actual physical thing requested of the person (IE food) instead of giving them actual money (within my means), because I don't believe people are trustworthy enough that I can just give them money and they won't use it for "less helpful" purposes. Do you think this is too cynical of me? It's not like I will refuse to help someone within my means based on this skepticism right off the bat, but like I had a guy a while back ask for money so he could get food literally across the street, and I offered to go get the food for him, basically taking his order, and he declined. Is it "okay" of me to then decline to give them the requested money? The person I was discussing this with described this mindset as borderline victim-shaming. Is that truly what I'm doing? If so, I need to re-evaluate my thought process.

We then went on a tangent and discussed what a rich person's "obligations" are in order to help people who are less fortunate than they are. People like professional athletes, CEOs of megacorps, etc. These people are multi-millionaires, even billionaires. If someone is worth 1 billion, and gives 1 million, on one hand that is a significant amount, but on the other there will always be people who go "they gave X% of their net worth lol." Is there even a correct answer? On some level with such people there's got to be a sort of willing ignorance for people who are destitute through no fault of their own, right? Perhaps they feel they've done enough? But should that erase the fact that they did give? Or is it a hard line based on the amount rather than a pure philosophical issue? IE if someone worth 1 million gives $1000, vs someone worth 1 billion who gives 1 million?

Quite a big variance this week, ranging from 14 at the top to most people got 10, and a good chunk got below 10. This week's winner though, MysteriousStan with 14 wins! And coincidentally, he also nailed the upset of the week, being the only one to predict PHI over NO! Riding hurts to victory just like the iggles.

Quick note, remember as the title says, there are saturday games now!

All New Heroes banners have sparking. The Christmas banner will have sparking, but there is no indication that it will continue for future Special Heroes banners

What does sparking mean in this context?

Also man I am super here for that altina duo. Regular altina has become one of my favorite units so an unconditional vantage even just for a turn sounds awesome.

I am ambivalent on the story. I am definitely invested in seeing where it goes after the book 4 cliffhanger and that whole plot thread, but there's moments like book 5 where it's like "here's another threat for you to deal with that just showed up out of nowhere but not really"

Pretty good week overall, most people hit double digits. But this week's winners were Bartz, Crescent, and once again DoomTheGyarados with 12 wins! Upset of the week is by far 1 picker of the Giants, that picker was...Jukkie! Good job Jukkie!

With us entering the final quarter of the season, I want to remind everyone that playoffs will be the top 12 overall pickers PLUS TIES. There will be a tiebreaker the final week but only to help determine any potential ties for the top 4 that receive a bye. There's still 4 more weeks to get movement on the board!

I am not normally one for conspiracy theories but that absolutely feels like tanking. No team is bad enough to just let dudes run downfield twice in a row, at the end of the game when they need a TD. That's just too on the nose even for the jets.
