I accepted that the system has been lost to corruption a long time ago. Doesn't mean I'm not allowed to point it out. It doesn't seem like you care about any of that and you just want to score a "gotcha" on the internet. Enjoy, I guess?

Seems like it would be a lot more productive to try and focus on fixing it in 2024 instead of 2016.

Imagine if the general election was run like party primaries. A private company controls the process and the states vote on different dates, meaning that the race would often be decided before many states even get to vote. Utterly ridiculous.

Woah, I almost never see anyone reference The Sword of Truth. I know most people here look down on Terry Goodkinds writing but I really enjoyed the books. I reread them every year. Im currently in the middle of a reread right now.

I choose that because I enjoy the world building. Id love to be able to visit The Peoples Palace in DHara, or go to Aydindril and see the Confessors Palace or the Wizards keep. Hell Id even like to go to Palace of the Prophets in Tanimura.

Never watched the show because it looked bad but I enjoyed the books.

It's mostly because reading Goodkind is just reading The Wheel of Time fanfiction with more rape.

While yes, one is considerably worse than the other, and some people might even feel desperate enough to take A as the less bad option, both options are still shit, one just goes beyond merely shit. And it's very understandable why a lot of people wouldn't want to eat either, even in a desperate situation.

One thing I figured out at the end of 2016 is to change your jump to a bumper button like L1.
