What are the best examples of teams winning without a good quarterback? I can think of Joe Flacco and Eli Manning in the last 60 years.

That's because Brady and Mahomes has fucked everything up and made it look "easy".

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

I mean good quarterback in general, not in the Superbowl game specifically. Peyton Manning is one of the absolute greatest quarterbacks to ever live, where Joe Flacco and Eli Manning were usually never drafted to anybodys fantasy team their entire careers except as maybe a bye week back-up.

The sad thing all 3 of those QBs don't seem to be franchise players.

That makes what, 33 QBs in 33 years? It's little wonder Washington has been a joke the entire time, they just can't stick with one and build around him.

Dude they haven't even played a fucking game yet.

Also if you don't think Caleb Williams looks like he can be a franchise player I don't know what drugs you're on.

Washington in 1991-92, with Mark Rypien. He had one great year, then fell off completely.

Rypien replaced an injured or struggling starter, right? I can't remember.

given the last season showed everyone what happens to your season when you don't have a good quarterback, this makes a lot of sense.

Doug Williams was injured and getting old, so Rypien was named starter in 1989. Washington went 10-6, and missed the playoffs. 1990, again went 10-6 but this time made the playoffs (lost to 49ers in Divisional Round 28-10). 1991, they went 14-2 (including winning first 11 in a row), and won the Super Bowl. 1992, they went 9-7, won the wild card round and lost again to 49ers in the Divisional Round.
