Lmao what? I only got to play that part and wasn't sure if I'd get to touch any more of the game from him so I made a topic about it. Dunno why you're in such a knot rn tbh I did get to play some more, and I've realized that the Dino area doesn't seem indicative of the rest of the game. They put some kinda challenging (imo at least, I am awful at platformers despite enjoying them) platforming right past the houses in the sand world and I really enjoyed it However now my main concern is enjoyment of the console itself. It emphasizes motion controls for games like Odyssey so I don't want to play with joysticks attached but that means I can't grip the console. And THAT means I have to prop it up on a flat surface since the stand sucks. I don't own a TV in my dorm and apparently it's impossible to get HDMI input into laptops according to my research --- |

But even so I seriously love the mechanics and designs of that game. They pretty much did whatever they want. Cookie galaxies, or riding a manta across huge tracks of suspended water, I still remember a ton of the game. Also, I was absolutely wowed by BotW despite having familiarity with the older Zelda games, but Odyssey didn't feel like as big of a jump. The cappy possession didn't feel that different from normal power-ups. Dino = Mega Mario, Frog = frog suit... --- |

Personally I wasn't hit with that feeling of awe that I got way back when I played Galaxy. That game had so much cool gravity and perspective stuff. --- |

But his lack of kept development from his original self makes the whole game come off as desparate to cash in on Phoenix fan service. I think they did a decent job of translating Phoenix back into the courtroom. DD keeps his air of mystery with the phone call at the start of the game and his first appearance in the game proper is a triumphant walk into the courtroom to back up Athena. He can't seem like the omniscient sort of chess player that he appears as in AJ because, honestly, he wasn't well-written in that game. It can also be taken into account that Phoenix is a lot happier in DD considering a lot of the shame and infamy (and unemployment) on his shoulders was lifted. I think Athena was fine in DD. SoJ did the best it could but she needs more character injected into her to give her something to do like they did for Apollo in DD. --- |

Firstly, Additionally, it was clear that they had no idea how to end the trial; they just wanted another 'oh shit' display like Phoenix did in 5-1, which was a much better case. Once Phoenix solves the puzzle, he's just like "ayy lmao check it" and then the game, very jarringly, goes right into the witness breaking down. There's no dialogue that ties together the significance of the solved mysteries and their combined meaning as implicating the witness. NibeIungsnarf posted... I do think that his actions giving the situation are really forgivable. I can't agree, I've practically written essays about it elsewhere. Essentially, the game's writing makes it so that --- |

So I keep making a ton of money so I should spend it on training, right? I'm emphasizing Personality in my level ups and also I have Mercantile as a minor skill so I feel like I should train it up. Since then training other stats and such will be cheaper. But is that actually worth it? Will I make significantly more money with high Mercantile or is this a lousy investment? --- |
