Gus wants Walt dead over 2 drug dealers jesse was going kill. Jesse kills a Gale to save Walt although hes innocent aside from cooking. So Gus wants walt dead for killing 2 child killing drug dealers jesse was going to kill but he doesnt want Jesse dead for killing gale and also indirectly costing him Victor.

Walter ordered the hit on Gale. Gus recognizes Jesse only did it because he trusts Walter. Gus recognizes Jesse is a way more trustworthy, principled, stable, less ambitious cook than Walter. Easy calculation to groom Jesse to succeed Gale and replace Walter.

Mike =/= Gus though, and Mike's presence is part of what would make shooting at Gus suicide. Mike also prevents Jesse from having a chance of poisoning Gus' coffee. IIRC Jesse doesn't get that much close contact with Gus besides that cartel meeting, Gus and Mike talking at the diner, and the meeting at Gus' house.

The idea Jessse is in bed with Gus and skipping all chances to poison him is Walt's delusion.

I also think it's unfair to act like Jesse is in a total life debt to Walt at that point, after all Jesse had last reciprocated by killing Gale to protect Walt, which was a huge step for Jesse especially after Walt promised he'd take care of Gale himself and just needed the address.

oh i misread that. i see what you mean but jesse wasn't totally unloyal to Walt that season. He looked for opportunities to use the ricin multiple times. Their S4 falling out happens because Walt doesn't have faith in Jesse and accuses Jesse of abandoning him and stealing his recipe despite Jesse not wanting to go to Mexico and coming to Walt for advice.

You mean Walt kills Gus to save himself from Jesse replacing him and to keep Jesse under his control... it was absolutely not about "helping" Jesse it was about Walt's selfishness.

Because a serious, award-seeking television adapatation is in line with the brand PlayStation is building and they're willing to invest to achieve that.

Capcom does not want to Emmy bait, they're not invested with the prestige of RE's story, they probably wanted a cheap promotional series or else were offered a fair bit of cash for use of the IP name. Either case explains why it was some unaffiliated script with names changed to match RE.

Star Trek is specifically TOS on this list, the 1966-1969 run. Check the article.

It's included for its legacy and its entry specifies that TNG, DS9 and SNW have been more consistent than TOS, but TOS is listed for making those possible.

Jesses a great plot device.

This is a massive oversimplification of their long and complex relationship. Jesse rebeled against Walter multiple times and was even on the money that he poisoned Brock. Part of being a victim of manipulation is that you can't see the manipulator's actions in clear, unbiased context. Walt knew Jesse better than anyone and leveraged that.

For starters, Jesse was blackmailed initially. Walter said he'd turn Jesse in if he didn't help Walter conduct business.

He liked the money and the independence he got from the money. Then he has to go enforce a bag stolen from Pete at which point he encounters the child in the horrible meth home. That episode frames how Jesse feels about children and is the start of him realizing his street persona does not match his inner values. We also get a bit of that from him protecting his little brother when he moved back in with his parents.

He meets Jane, and it doesn't go well. He has horrible guilt about his involvement in her death. At rehab, his leader's advice is that Jesse needs to live with what he's done.

Jesse tries this, he tells Walter "I'm the bad guy" and tries his hand remorselessly peddling meth. He goes to sell at the AA meeting and meets his girlfriend. When he learns she has a kid it totally recontextualizes the meth business for him as he sees now that the people he directly sold to are trying to take care of families.

Around this time he also learns one of his street guys is shot by a child used by some dealers in the same business he operates in.

The business harming kids is incompatible with who Jesse is. At first he tries to reconcile these issues several times such as by killing the dealers or placing the blame at Gus' feet.

Getting Gus killed after what happened to Brock helps Jesse feel better for a while. He convinces himself things will be different with Mr. White completely in charge as Walter has manipulated him for a long time and affirmed they share the same values.

Then, after Todd shoots a child, Walt votes to keep him in the business. At this point Jesse realizes how far away Walter really is from him, and he wants out. The cash turns into an inescapable reminder of what he's done and the guilt he feels.

Jesse is the best written character on the show in my opinion.

This card has needed to go for a very long time.

99% of every pendulum idea committed to cards remain fundamentally unplayable due to MR4. Who is even going to benefit enough from Electrumite besides Endymion - and, by the way, how did that even get printed, who wants to deal with all those fucking counters over the board...

i know nothing about western comics so it's hard for me to explain this. But I once saw a comic page where the premise was apparently the topic title, and it was an image of this huge guy in a red suit and maybe a lightning bolt on his chest flying through the air, and there was text about the new heroes having different or worse values and motivations than the people who came before them, it was a little ominous.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? The page art left an impression on me apparently as it just came back to me after all this time and I really want to know what it was.

B&W divisiveness is fake news, they're widely recognized as some of the best games. The only detractors are hard genwunners who reject B&W in particular for daring to have a full game of new Pokemon and preventing them from using the same team for 20 years.

There's a lot of conflicting info on the web about what improves experience and what's audiophile superstition.

So the top 8 consisted of a Prosciutto/Kakyoin, Diavolo, Petshop, Yoshikage, Kosaku, Hol Horse, Kars and Caesar.

You might notice two of these characters, Kakyoin and Pet Shop, are infamously banned in the arcade fighting game Heritage for the Future.

Prosciutto player succeeds consistently, only counterpicking Kak against characters that zone him out. At first Pet Shop loses to the Diavolo, getting sent to losers. And then he dominates his next match, and wins again... and then...

Grand Finals Prosciutto vs Pet Shop. Crowd is firmly on the Prosciutto's side because of Pet Shop's legacy and the zoning dominance he showed in losers bracket. First game, Pet Shop takes it. The Prosc switches to Kakyoin.

From there it's a ridiculous set where each character is throwing out multi-projectiles over and over while Kakyoin fishes for hits with his huge normals and Pet Shop uses its excellent mobility to fly over Kakyoin's hitboxes and hit him from above. Goes to game 5 and... Pet Shop resets the bracket.

Double Grand Finals (the GF was called 'Made in Heaven' as a jojo reference so they called this 'Made in Heaven Requiem') ONCE AGAIN goes to game 5. Any time the Kak player even grabbed the crowd burst into cheers, the hero/villain energy of the set was palpable. (Even if misplaced, as its unlikely either of these characters are top tier in ASBR, these were just the best players in a tournament of a just released, heavily updated game.)

And finally at game after both players adapting to each other and growing their playstyle over the course of the matches the final win goes to the people's Kakyoin

In Darkroot Garden, right after the fog wall in the big clearing with the stone knights with the anti-roll ward, there's a tree that turns out to be blocking a narrow path. I think it has a lot of physical resistance but you can firebomb it. Well I'd never seen the enemy behind it until now when I discovered it.

How am I still learning about new areas in this game?

An entire unique asset blocked behind an easily missable area in a largely optional area of the game.

The CCP is a 'vangaurd party', it pretty much is the government. And Xi is very respected.

It's Super Saiyan Goku and it's not even close.
