First Season, 8/10. Stupid premise and hilarious dialogue namedropping philosophers to make the characters sound intelligent instead of saying intelligent things. It won't make you think too much. But it is very fun and successfully explores many criminal scenarios while maintaining a long running plot and strong intrigue.

Second season, 5/10. An unremarkable continuation that feels forgettable and unnecessary.

Superstar Saga -> Partners in Time -> Bowser's Inside Story form a loose trilogy. Paper Jam is a crossover with Paper Mario. And there's also Dream Team which I hear is alright.

Partners In Time has the least to do with the overarching story of the saga but it's a serviceable game if you like the first one.

I had very poor communication with my soon to be roommate because we were originally recruited by a guy going for a 3BR but he ditched us to move in with his gf. Honestly what we're getting isn't a bad deal at all either. After rent, electricity, and furniture rental, it should still be cheaper than most of the on-campus dorms at my uni (they basically kick you off after freshman year). It's a 2 story which I'm mixed about because I have to walk upstairs to get to my bedroom but on the other hand there's a balcony which is cool. And I'll stop having my shitter rural internet and have in-town ethernet. I feel kinda optimistic about the school year despite all my classes being majority online because having an apartment I think will give me a great feeling of independence.

I could run Deus Ex Mankind Divided or RE2make or Sekiro far better than this game. I don't understand. It's a sidescrolling game rendering one screen and nowhere else at a time with digital movement and honestly, the game is not THAT good looking anyway. It's not like fighting games fundamentally need obscene processing power or something otherwise I wouldn't be able to play any others on my PC.

It's just so disappointing, I could've bought like FighterZ or something. I've seriously tried EVERYTHING to get this game to run. Messing with core affinities and CPU priority, messing with all kinds of settings in the Nvidia GPU panel, turning the resolution down to microscopic, running admin, disabling steam overlay, making weird adjustments to the engine.ini based on online recommendations, etc etc. I'm so frustrated.

It's minimum reqs asks for a 3.6GHz which is nearly 1 GHz faster than my CPU... I've been able to play lots of pretty recent games like Resident Evil 3 remake, Sekiro, Deus Ex Mankind Divided, but my computer fucking KNEELS to Street Fighter V. Which is literally a side scrolling game. I'm at 1280 resolution and lowest graphics settings and even then I get hiccups, and when I close the game I get a massive slowdown across my entire computer for like half a minute. It's just insane.

What's the point of talking about reviews if you're going to ignore or discredit scores you don't want to be true? I don't get why people say "X is bad site which explains their score" when something like TLOU2 drops and they declare basically every site is bought and paid for. There's no actual agreed list of good and bad review sites it's all just a monkey scramble to confirm people's biases and hype themselves before buying something.
