If you are willing to look, there are some easier Indy games out there (usually the puzzle based ones). I mean part of it could be that I love puzzle games, but I don't have a lot of trouble with most of them.

But yea, a lot of the 2D action games are basically all about the difficulty because they are an homage to the arcade style quarter eating games.

Typically I take a ton of vacation in December (use it or loose it essentially) so I just do my shopping the say that starts, since it is usually a weekday and the stores aren't that busy. This year however I don't have to get anybody a present, so I am looking forward to not having to deal with it. I'll probably just walk around a few places trying to catch Pokemon in Go so I can transfer them to Let's Go.

Nah, all nicktoons had adult humor hidden in them. Look at Rocko's Modern Life and Rugrats for example.

As a kid watching Rugrats, it was a show about babies and their adventures.
As an adult watching it back again, it's a show about hilariously bad parents.

Ren and Stimpy is the only one that currently has a TV-14 rating though. All the other ones are currently only TV-PG.

Nobody in their right mind buys a digital game unless it is

1) A pre-order
2) At the sale price

Even in the case of #2, sales vary and people may wait for at least a 50 - 75% off sale. I know I don't buy any digital game unless it is $5 or less (or I want it on day 1 and am willing to pay full price).

No only do motherboards come with integrated sound cards, but graphics cards do as well. I have been using my HDMI port for sound since 2007.

I am pretty much entirely digital at this point except for Switch games (which I only own 4 of currently, and 1 came with the system), so if they go out of business nothing of value will be lost.

If Gamestop goes under, I hope preorder bonuses suffer into oblivion and the mom and pop shops come back. I mean, there are two in the area that still survive but a couple more wouldn't hurt.

I remember reading that for mom and pop shops, they make pretty much nothing off of new games (something like $5 a game) and they are required my publishers to stock a minimum of 20 or so which is why they don't bother selling them. No small store is going to sell 20 of any new game other then maybe Madden or Call of Duty.

Plus they apparently don't get them on release day most times unlike the bigger stores, more like 2-3 days later.

I agree on Mass Effect. The first game was good, but they just got worse and worse as the series went on (the ending wasn't even half the problem with 3).

I used to think 20-40 dollars for DLC was excessive, but I'm now seeing some games on Steam with several hundred dollars of DLC, for a SINGLE GAME (some even pushing $1000+ in total content).

Knowing the types of games those are for, you are not buying ALL of them and it is not expected you would. It is usually a case like The Sims where you buy the ones that you think would work best for your game experience and ignore the ones you would never use (For example, you want Pets and Seasons, but not College Life or Night Life). In those cases I am fine with it because those are games you are spending hundreds upon hundreds of hours playing, putting in another $60 worth of DLC to enjoy it more isn't that big of a deal.

I don't think this is necessarily due to the added third dimension, but I think 2D games usually find more innovative ways to get around their limitations and are therefore more fun. 3D games are usually less restrictive in their design, but as a result the developers tend to me more lazy in innovating fun ways for the gamer to interact with the world and just rely on the fact that it is 3D.

Far from a perfect movie but the reaction to the movie is beyond overblown. The film was received well by critics and audiences, only on social media do people bitch about it.

That doesn't mean the movie is good.

Critics can (and usually are) bought out to make good reviews and people were going to see it anyways because Star Wars. I mean if you really want an indicator, look how Solo did. One of the most popular characters in the Star Wars series and his origin story completely bombs all because it followed The Last Jedi. Even Rogue One pulled in great numbers and that was only an answer to a 20 year old Internet meme.

Most busses in my area usually wait for cars to pass them before putting the blinkers on (allowing the kids to cross) so they aren't jamming up traffic. At most around here you only get delayed by a minute or two even on a really busy route.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2, I have put way too much time into it. People say it is not as good as the first Xenoblade Chronicles but I think it is still great. And Smash when it gets released.

Also any of the Wii U games that they ported over that you haven't played on Wii U. I played pretty much all of them on Wii U and they are fantastic.
