A chemical addiction isn't a bad thing so long as the chemical isn't harmful which caffeine really isn't at all. You will just need more of it to feel its impacts as your tolerance to it grows.

Even coffee is good for you if you don't put too much bad stuff into it.

Caffeine, Sugar, some (but not all) drugs act pretty much the same way making your body addicted to their chemicals. Drugs just attack the pleasure centers of your brain so the chemical addiction is much higher and are potentially much more harmful.

Not all addiction is visual. If you drink it enough your body begins to expect those chemicals as part of its normal processing. If you only drink it 6 times a month then that shouldn't be an issue at all but if you are drinking it every day you will need to consume more each day over time to feel the same impact as you initially did.

Quit drinking it.
