There's some interesting stuff in this report if you take some time with it.

But in short, the evidence suggests that a significant amount of hate crimes go unreported as hate crimes. While this report also goes by region as well, it does not specify where in the US the lack of reporting is centered.

This is not to say that these crimes A) do not happen or B) go unreported as crimes, just that they're not reported as hate crimes. A majority of these "unreported as hate crimes" get handled a different way.

So, that suggests that either:

1) Hate crimes just don't happen as often in red states.
2) Hate crimes aren't reported as hate crimes in red states.
3) Diversity of the region plays a significant factor.

And it's probably an indeterminable mix of all three.

Just adding side missions doesn't automatically make them better. There's only so much they could do to the game without retreading concepts you've already seen. I mean, I get it. You want more of the game. The question is, how would you extend the game without retreading and without artificially just extending the time necessary to do things? You'd have to insert a new game mechanic or style to keep things fresh. There's a pacing to Platinum games especially.

If we're talking influence, it's all about perspective.

Do I have an effect on a video game because I write a FAQ for it? In some small way, maybe, but I'm not going around trumpeting it.

TFS, to their credit, maintains a similar stance of humility. I've never seen them claim to maintain the public eye on Dragon Ball through their work. Did they have an effect? Sure, but can we legitimately track its significance? Not with any confidence.

I work in safety. I know that I cannot prevent every single accident from happening.

Yet that doesn't lead me to stop trying to prevent accidents from happening. Using whatever controls I have at my disposal, be they engineering controls, good work practices, or protective equipment.

I use every tool I have available.

The only risk you take with "only review it if you like the series" is the factor of complacency.

Not only does a fan of a particular series know how/where to find improvements, but they also have a tendency to forgive faults endemic to the series.

He's certainly not the first comedian to find comedy more difficult, or more correctly, having to adapt their own style of comedy as time and society change, and not being able to make the same jokes as before.
