Hes got the one sidekick, who is also a badass, but he doesnt have to rely on an entire kingdom to finance his operations. Blade has also been fighting much longer, so I think hes more skilled. Give Blade a vibranium sword or whatever can cut Black Panthers armor, and theres no way he would lose in a fight against Black Panther.

idk, didn't really hear that about the plot, but i don't think it looks all that interesting from what i've seen. Hear a lot of my black coworkers are really hyped for the movie though. And i've also read on the net about how a lot of the black community seems really high on this movie

The Fantastic Four can stand toe to toe with Doctor Friggen Doom and heralds of Galactus.

If I were betting, my money would be on Blade, if he had something to even the odds against Black Panthers movie armor, which he doesnt even have (or didnt before anyway) in the comics.

He's still established as one of the smartest, skilled and most powerful characters in Marvel. Plus when you take into account that he have access to magic now and one of the most advance technology at his disposal and it takes him to a whole 'nother level.

I never once said the movie was bad, nor did I claim it was good "just because of the skin color of the actors." But the ridiculous attention it's getting from the media -- being compared to Obama's election and such -- is because of the skin color of the actors. And the reason black action movies didn't get this kind of treatment in the 90s was because America didn't have this ridiculous race obsession that's been fueled by the identity politics movement.
