So Aim assist is removed for console players when playing with PC players for some reason and doing so makes it almost impossible for those on Console to play well, Played with some console friends(some of which were Diamond on OW1) and they were struggling to get more than 8 kills a game(For the DPS ones) and were getting mopped up by everyone, out of 8 games we didn't win a single quickplay and I was Team MVP every game. Playing with PC players is a massive punishment as it remoevs the only thing that has a chance to equalize the discrepancy between K&M and controller

I think Blizzard has turned into a company that resells the same thing. Starcraft Remastered, warcraft 3 reforged, Diablo II: Resurrected, and now Overwatch. With hard ups and downs for if it's worth time/money.

It's horribly sad.

To be fair people have begged for a Diablo 2 remaster for the better part of a decade maybe longer. But otherwise yeah.

Is Paladins any good?

It's exceptionally mediocre, the production value is so low you'd think it's an indie game made by a fledgeling studio and not a game made 5 years ago, it's not terrible it just feels very neglected and unpolished unlike the devs other game Smite. Matches are so fast you'll just start to have fun and then it will be over, queue times are long if you don't have a premade, Most characters feel like blatant Overwatch knockoffs with 1:1 abilitys, but soem are unique.

I really hate the gameplay, every payload mode just turns into an extended slugfest, Tanks are unkillable by themselves with a healer they become immortal, The best healers have get-out-of-jail free card abilities and outheal teammates faster than any Damage role can deal damage to them.

It's insane how little this game does to justify it's "2" title, I've seen seasonal updates that bring more to the table than this supposed "sequel."

I remember Jeff Kaplan gettin onstage and saying OW2 would redefine what a sequel is, but idk maybe he was right in some twisted way.

Yeah they didn't even anounce it, even old games would have Messages that go out telling you when it closed for maintenece.

Sat through 1000 queue just to DC before I finished a game.

I can confirm when I did get in for a short time yesterday, the game did in fact recognize that I was an OW1 veteran

None of my friends or myself have our stuff, across multiple platforms.

Havent tried today though maybe the patch last night fixed it.

No, Destiny 1 is still availible and you can go back and play it.

overall they are not removing it

The game doesn't recognize any OW1 players right now so everybody has to do it if they want to play.

blizzard has a thing about balancing their games for the .05% of people that actually get into it. that's the most annoying thing.

I think that's most games nowadays, Influencer/Pro Player complains about a gun they don't like, then all their fart sniffing drones also complain and then it gets nerfed or "fixed." It happened to R6 Siege.

I really miss when a game would come out and that's just how the game was, you might get a patch every 6 months or when an expansion dropped but that was it.

That's what annoys me, I like 6v6, now it just looks like it's copying every other Esport gamelike CSGO or R6, I suppose OW has always been desperate to catch that Esport crowd.

All the changes to gameplay killed my interest. monetization and free to play elements just nails it in further.

It plays okay but theres so many other games I'd rather sink my teeth into, with all these MP games with battle passes really just turn me off since I feel like they trying to enslave me to the game.

It's also extremely grindy and the menus are unintuitive.

Don't think I've ever heard a Nickelback song, imagine Dragons isn't bad I guess, both are just another big name band to me, couldn't care about them if I tried.

Is this actual cringe or the kind of 2010s internet "cringe" where you're supposed to be upset at people just enjoying themselves and having fun at the expense of no-one?

It's very good and does the Cyberpunk Universe more justice than the game can ever hope to, it's very light on Anime tropes likely due to having western writers and is great because of it, it feels like it combines all the aesthetic of an anime with actual writing made for real humans. I hate anime and I really liked it so I'd recommend it.

I bought the game because of it and I feel immensely disappointed the game utterly fails to live up to any of the hype from release or the anime.

Apparently they say it's so good it's causing a resurgence in the game's population. I haven't watched or played either. Just heard news.

It's a combination, big updated dropped alongside the Anime, the game was on a 50% off sale for like 2 or 3 weeks and we got news about the expansion. Game is still very mid though.

The government probably has a contingency plan for this and ramped it up in recent years I'm sure. Most corps will be shit out of luck, but anything for sustaining life and war will probably be handled. They may have gone to some mega corps for funding and included them in the deal.

This also stretches to our war allies especially any members of the British Commonwealth.

Considering the Goverment couldn't sufficiently handle a world wide pandemic and most Countries are still suffering economically because of it, they probably are not preparing for this as well as you'd like to think.

Maybe this is extreme but it seems its just a way for the old people to congregate and share veiws that have no basis in reality. Like they can't say what they want at dinner with the family so they share bigoted veiws on Facebook because it was all the rage a decade ago.

I'm really glad I've always put off social media for the most part.

was watching something about that backrooms creepypasta a couple days ago and it just made me think of all the old multiplayer maps and dead online games that i'd wandered around in in the past. valve games were really good for creepy feeling.

I really liked the concept of the backrooms untill idiots got ahold of it and started adding monsters and shit to the lore, it's totally ruins the psychology and eeriness that comes from isolation and a sense of familiarity and just makes it another "haha watch out for scary monsters."

Anyway that's my totally random rant for the day.

I think standard empty MP maps are really creepy, MMOs will atleast have NPCs and enemies to kill, MP maps have nothing but empty corridors and rooms.

This video is pretty cool, some people are leaning into the creepiness of Empty maps and actually adding subtle horror things in them.

I'll consider it if they go back to 1 protagonist, 3 of them just ended up diluting the story and I hated Trevor.

This game was a sleeper bomb and a half, I don't think I know anyone who knows what the hell it is.

Also Anthem lasted longer than it did, that's incredible.

Also not surprised to see Mead is unhinged enough to promote cheating.

I heard it was really short and I hate when gamesa are really short.

Also it's been marketed as a rogue lite but apprently it's not one, which is kind of disappointing.

Probably true, I grew up on 3d Zelda and struggled on some of the earilier 3d ones like Ocarina, not so much with Twilight princess.

I always stumbled into the correct solution as a dumb kid.

I used to read webcomics but everytime I got really into a webcomic with plot I always lost intrest due to the glaciel pace they move at.

As slow as it is I'd rather ride a horse than sit in traffic. Hell, actually I think in some cases the horse would be faster.

Destiny 2 with 271.7 hours, should note that I have more on the Windows Store and Xbox though, only 207 hours of actual gameplaying too.

I think MCC has the opposite problem where you have to start downloading all the games but only then can you select which games to cancel downloads for.

There a deli in a grocery store near me and if you order online they always slate you for a 40 min wait time, but they frequently miss the deadline and it takes all of 3 min to walk up and ask them for what you want. It's annoying, like yeah you can shop around while you wait but I thought the point of the online orders was to increase efficiency.

I talk to myself constantly while I'm not engaging with others, its almost always explaining things to an specific person.

I wish Capcom wouldn't neglect any franchise that isn't RE or Monster Hunter.

I was super disappointed by the size of the world, Hames was super promising untill you realize the world is so incredibly small.

Combat was great and I love the Pawn system.

Meanwhile Xbox just lets you play last gen games and gives them compatibility with the new consoles.
