I keep forgetting Ascend is an ability because it feels like a cheat, I've made puzzles way more difficult and have gotten stuck a few times, haven't had that happen since I was a little kid playing Zelda, it's kind of cool.

So I did the path to the Wind Temple alone by accident because I missed Tulins dialogue trigger and he left after I started doing it, why didn't they just let you continue on and miss the cut-scene instead.

Again, absolute horseshit, it never went away or "was on the decline" it's just largely invisible to non queer people. There's an author of a queer book I follow and after they released their book they pointed out and showed several videos they were sent of people burning their book in hate. It wasn't that long ago Trump was in office and enforcing anti-gay policies despite saying he wouldn't. Gay marriage has only been legal across the States since 2015, less than a decade ago. Trying to tell me "it's not that bad" or some shit like that only leads me to think you're straight and in that case, you're only proving my point that you think it's better for us than it is. Yeah it's true it's easier for non-trans qeer people to exist, sure but that doesn't mean we don't still face hatred.

But believe it or not, there are absolutely some Reps who claim they are not the anti-gay party. See Milo, Blaire White, on some that are actually lgbt themselves.

Serious answer, it's because of the rapidly growing acceptance of them. There are people who still consider them mutilated freaks, who just up out of nowhere adopted the transgender "culture", and the idea of them convincing their children to do the same is a great way to fearmonger. None of that is based in reality, but that's what happens when you cling to an unchanging fundamental view of the world. Just a couple years ago we were pretending that being gay was a choice.

Basically it's just them digging a deeper whole, since we're all still pissed about the way they treated the gays. One day they'll pretend they were cool with transgender people all along. And they love speaking out of both sides of their mouths, on one side calling them child grooming pedophiles, and out the other saying they just want reasonable limits so that people don't rush into it and make a mistake.

I have not seen one anti gay person of note suddenly pretend to be cool with gay people, they still spew just as much vile hatred for both, just look at Supreme Justice Clarence Thomas.

Non trans gay rights are very much still under threat and only a straight person won't realize that.

I'm sure he has enough pull and fanbase to get his own platform, but now it'll be 10x crazier. Either way he's going to be replaced by someone likely just as bad.

I've tried to start Starbound like 7 times over the last decade but everytime I just don't really know what to do or where to go, like there's no clear progression found in other Survival games. Maybe that's just me or i wasn't paying enough attention.

Game has fuckload of mods though, I've seen some really, uhh creative ones too.

The anime artstyle with stock realistic models and assets is offputting to me but it looks really solid regardless.

I was playing at release day, assuming you're talking about the PvE mode, it was shit and nobody played for a reason, it played like a mobile game that encouraged pay-2-win loot boxes with absolute mind numbing gameplay. Pissed me off I'd been waiting since it's 2012 announcement to play the game.

Really hard to watch some of Mega64's older videos now. Basically any of them would get Rocco and co arrested now a days.

Dude they talk about how they always got the cops called on them for all these videos that involve them messing with the public. They also still do them rarely.

I want a redo of 5 with the original plot that was about Chris and Barry, not Sheva. CV seems the obvious choice though.

It's a stereotypical answer but ME3 was mind-bogglingly bad, supposedly the original plot was completely redone despite having been planned out since ME2 as theres lots of random plot threads in 2 that never get acknowledged in 3 and character development do 180s.

Also Destiny 1, I play 2 alot but I'll never forget how the first game ended with a random boss fight and a random character showing up and handing you a Blue rarity gun only to disappear for 5 years and a sequel. D1 was a disaster and and I think any other game studio would have collapsed due to it.

Yeah I gave up on it pretty quickly, the story didn't seem intresting and if it takes untill the 3rd act of a game to get intresting then it's not a good story. Gameplay was fun enough but I wish there was more combos.

I don't know where you live but that is certainly not the case around me, I know several people who don't and I've nearly been in accidents both in car and on foot because some didn't use a turn signal.

There's also no reason to insult him about it but if you must dispute a claim by insulting the person go off I guess, you just make yourself look like an anger management problem waiting to happen.

How are you at 155 hours without AFK time? I had toins of AFK time and the game took me 100 hours.

I'm doing it with the enemy + item randomizer, it's intresting but too easy so far, there's so many treasures in the game every odd pickup is one and it's not as enjoyable as it should be.

I thought they were giving the spin off off away for free and was surprised, but this is just the DLC from 2 reformatted as a standalone game, Gearbox is pretty fucking greedy.

I'm cautious about it, both Re2 and 3 remakes were extremely lackluster and cut so much content from the originals, 3make in particular was missing about 3/4ths of the game. So I'm worried about how much they'll remove here.

Also mercenaries being added post launch is annoying, I'm tired of games launching feature incomplete and Capcom seems to love doing this especially.

People give Kojima shit? Last I checked most people venerate him as some sort of messiah even though he consistently makes godawful games and takes all the credit for everything good about his franchise.

I remember thinking as a kid "why can't I sneak all the way around the village" everytime I got to that section and you could sneak around to where the lady was shoveling hay before they spotted you. So it's kind of cool you can do that now, but I don't know how to feel about it, I don't think Resident Evil needs something like that.

I want to know if the new controls are much better, the one thing that's kept me from replaying the old versions were the controls, even 10 years ago they were awful and clunky compared to any competent shooter.

It is funny but also scary once you realize every delusional conservative boomer will be unable to tell these fakes from reality and it becomes used in mass propaganda.

I think it's cute that people act like and think it's only corporations that are gouging you for common goods and services when theres just as many if not more local businesses doing it too, most people that have a business are incredibly greedy or soon get to be that way.

I think the bad parts come from the game being super unfinished and after the climax of disc one, the story drops off a cliff untill halfway through disc 2 and climbs back up only to jump off at the end again.

I remember hating how many party members there were but you could only use 1/3rd of them in the actual game and the others were relegated to story event dungeons where they were just background dressing making it pointless to equip them with gear or for them to exist.

The controls were dogshit and there was wayyyyyy too much running around and the one mount you get takes up 2 of the 3 party active member slots.

I'm replaying Future perfect now and it's every bit as great as I remember, albeit easier. 2 and FP(3) are a must play for any gamer imo.

1 is kinda iffy though and I never really liked it, it feels like a prototype for what 2 became as it lacks a story mode amd feels limited in scope.

I remember cancelling my preorder last second for Portal 2, I like to say I really did dodge a Nuke.

Anyway after watching videos I found most of the games jokes to be downright offensive and outdated even by 2011 standards but that's how Duke has always been.

Make sure you know for sure what games you want to buy for it, I got one and I'm not interested in 90% of the consoles exclusives, even the exclusives it does have barely run correctly and have massive performance issues.

Imo the console is kind of a joke with how poor it performs but Nintendo has been behind the curve pretty much since the Wii launched but atleast that system didn't have too many performance issues that I recall.

I'm too young for the first 3 so I went with the Ouya, the interviews with its spokeswoman where she clearly knew nothing about the console still astounds me. I don't understand how anyone bought into it.

No but I hate remembering certain shows I associate with people I once liked that ended up wronging me, like a show myself and an ex liked.

I liked it a ton, the classes are a nice change from set chracters but I hated how you couldn't fully re-roll in the middle of a playthrough, 12 or so classes and you can only have 2 at a time, some are godawful combos for each other
