I also didn't get it for years for the same reason, it's incredible because it's so goddamn easy most of the time and people say I'm one of the best drivers they've seen and I have far less experience than most.

Dvelopement on Fallout 4 Together has been suspended so they can focus on Skyrim for now.

and no not on Xbox.

Also a potato PC can run Skyrim at this point.

I find myself thinking about little else but playing it when I get home or get done with my chores, that I'm planning out what to level next or what quests to do, but now instead of discussing it with my friends in a chat I'm actually playing with them! Having a true Bethesda game be co-op was a dream for mid teenage me and now it's finally come true a decade later.

I always deride Skyrim compared to pretty much any other RPG, especially it's predecessors and yeah it feels like a babies first RPG, the writing is nonsensically terrible, fetch quests are abundant and the RPG mechanics may aswell not even exist. Yet despite all that there's something that's really magical about Skyrim and other TES games that I find other BGS games like Fallout doesn't have, it's not really nostalgia but these games just have a certain atmosphere or identity that nothing else has ever captured for me, I guess I would say it feels cozy in a way.

I still really don't understand why Butcher gave up on killing Homelander because Soldier Boy knocked Ryan away after interfering, his reasoning was flimsy at best. I don't mean to overreact but I was getting strong GOT Season 8 vibes from the finale, lots of buildup only to go nowhere.

Soldier Boy did nothing but kill nobodies and get put back on ice, which sucked becasue Jensen Ackles was steller in the role.

I hope Black Noir is still alive, he didn't get a memorial and survived losing part of his brain so maybe he'll come back, since he also got a ton of buildup only to go nowhere.

While Chick Fil As get extremly busy around here they're always incredibly efficient and I rarely see cars leading out into a road, and if they do it's never for more than a couple of minutes. I live in a metropolitan area.

I have noticed more and more of them are Installing 3 drive-thru lanes and always have someone taking orders outside aswell.

Seriously I've waited at empty Wendy's lot 10x as long as it's ever taken me to get Chic Fil A.

Phasmophobia, I always loved the concept of those ghost shows, even though they're fake as hell and the way they present things as being real somwhat irratates me. SO I love that there's a game based around the ghosts being real.

"Because it's against Science" or some variation is the usual defense, I've never seen someone able to accurately describe what they mean by that though, and it's always just an Elementary level blanket statement they can pull out of thier ass to vaguely justify thier bigotry.

It's particularly hilarious and quite sad when Conservatives do it, as if 99% actually listen to science unless it's justifies thier world view.

For what it's worth I don't think the internet streotype of Trans people getting angry whenever you misgender them to the point of violence doesn't help, lots of Trans people put on the "Don't ever misgender me or I'll beat you with a bat" front and create a negative stigma to people who would otherwise be supportive of it. I'm not trans but a couple of people have talked about it to me when they meet someone who is trans and they're worried what they'll do if they misgender them since they want to avoid drama.

And I want to make it clear I understand that getting misgendered is uncomfortable and it's something all trans people likely have to deal with at some point, but this is just me theorizing.

I always found it hilarious the villains were greedy white guys but the Natives needed to be saved by another white guy who originally was siding with the villains.

So the message essientially comes off as "White men bad but also White man good" at the same time.

The Skyrim Together mod is getting a massive update on the 8th that seemignly makes it way more playable.

The teaser was the least descriptive shit ever. Those cliffs could be in literally ANY province.

I mean going off the color and the way ESO shows areas, it looks like it's on the West Coast or towards High Rock. Geographically it makes sense too.

Elder Scrolls has some really crazy lore but I feel like they never capitilize on it, you can only ever read about all the cool shit that happens in the countries of Tamriel but you never get to visit these cool places aside from Morrowind, even in ESO that has you go to these countries nothing there is like what it's said to be in the lore. Even the next Elder Scrolls looks like it's going to take place in another Human-centric country unless the teaser was inaccurate, hurry up and give us BlackMarsh or Elsweyr.

Beacause that's the way the developers intended the game to be played probably, In the older Halo games it outright tells you that Hard(Heroic) is the way it's meant to be played. They want you to have the option to turn it down though.

Have you played since it came out? They fixed the card imbalance long ago, and it takes a very short amount of time to get maxed cards anyway.

I remember when Battlefront II came out there was a big controversy over the in-game economy and mtx, and that left a bad taste in my mouth. I assume they changed this because it has good reviews on Steam. Do people still play it?

Like I said yeah, the game was having a fantastic upward climb but a couple years ago EA pulled the plug suddenly when it and BFV were at thier prime to make the shitstain that is BF 2042 so both games are missing content that was teased and in development, like Battlefront has a mode that is half finished for one of the trilogies while the others are done. People still play too.

Battlefront 2 frequently goes on sale for under $10.

I've been trying to tell people about it since the OG Xbox era when it came out, but nobody ever wants to hear about it, even my friends that are super into card games don't care to give it a try.

It really sucks the sequel/reboot/whatever it was got cancelled back in like 2014, I really want the franchise to find life again, but then again it would be infested with microtransactions, they even tried to do MTs when the re-release came out, atleast the whole game is free now.

I think this movie feels kinda offensive, the cast seems to feature extremely streotypical archetypes queer people have to deal with. With how much queer people are still discriminated against I don't think a movie of this caliber is okay, I mean gay marraige was just threatened 2 weeks ago by one of the highest authorities in the US.

I remember Egoraptor making those animations of his and being popular way back in the 2000's, I loved his parody animations, then he started doing sequelitis and showed me he knows nothing about game design despite claiming to have enlightened level otherwise, then he did Gamegrumps and really solidified that he's not qualified to critique games even as a consumer.

But I dislike him mainly because he's an egotistical dickhead, I suppose the name fits though.

Can't they fail or something happens and you start producing again? I was reading up on it a couple months ago and the impression I got was that it wasn't foolproof.

I think media can be used as a gauge.

A gay couple that is very much a generic stereotype though, and it's a comedy show, conservatives don't really care if a gay couple is played for laughs, they care if it's a real life gay couple though. Lesbians also tend to get a bit of leeway in terms of acceptance, then there's plenty of people who think gay stuff is hot as long as it is happening between the opposite gender.

Hmm. TV shows and the like suggest otherwise. Although granted I've no idea bout the gay scene in other countries outside of that.

Don't ever base what politics, culture or anything of a real life situation are like in a goddamn TV show, do you really need this to be said to you? Works of fiction are never indicative of what a country is like, especially one that's unfathomably huge like the US.

I have the exact opposite experience, none of my friends including myself ever talk about sex or even relationships in general, I find it something that should be very private. Meanwhile most women I've ever known are never heisatant to talk about sexual encounters in great detail to the point of making me severely uncomfortable and violating my boundries by refusing to spare the details.

it's crazy men have this streotype of being sex freaks but I feel it's far from the truth. Although that's not to say some men aren't obsessed in private.

Also to answer the topic question I think a high number of sexual partners correlates to a lack of commitment, for both men and women, especially if they like to hook up with random strangers, that's a big yikes in my book.

Loads of Streamers have been activeley spending money on the game, Asmongold has spent dozens of thousands, lowest I seen a streamer pay was like $20k. And the best part is they all still decry it as predetory after dropping enough money to save dozens of lives.

So yeah not a surprise it's still profitble when the game has whales like this.

I don't know how people can go weeks without doing it, if I go a week without it I look like a basement dweller I have so much.

It's really incredible that Obsidian had entirely different songs that fit thematically with the setting, some even recorded by the director that didn't make it onto the radio, meanwhile Bethesda just used 90% of Fallout 3's songs most of which amount to "funny old song."

I always hear nothing but bad things about 3, I have not played it myself.

I used 8chan way back when it got a bunch of refugees from that minor reddit split. That was the era of hotwheels and it was what you'd expect from a combination of 4chan and reddit, nothing crazy. I left because they all became really bitter and then years later I guess some sort of radicalization took place. I don't know what 8kun is nor do I know who runs the website now, if it even still exists.

Yeah, I used to use 8Chan quite a bit, mainly because it had a dedicated Furry board, there were actually some other nice boards there where people weren't overtly hostile or dickheads, for the most part anyway. it feels weird when people generailize it as an Alt-Right cespool, because there was a ton of boards with wildly different topics and people. I never used the /pol or other political boards or anything so i don't know what went on there, but it sucks they seemingly got the site killed and buried.

It's okay. An interesting blend of really cool ideas and some really questionable execution. In terms of overall quality it's nothing special, but if you like RPGs with exploration and real time combat it's different enough from the staples to be worth a try.

This, it has phenominal combat held back by limited movesets, it's directed by the same guy who does DMC and you can really feel that, but like I said the potential is held back by only having around 4 abilites at a time.

But the game is disgustingly small and quests are boring, you sart the game, say "Wow this adventure looks like it's going to be great!" and then get slapped in the face by an open world 1/4th the size of Skyrims with the same 1/4th content.

Also they made carry weight effect combat and stamina but then makes you carry dozens of small items that quickly build up to overload you and inventory management is tedious at best. get ready for the ever classic Sprint, wait to regen, Sprint, wait, sprint, wait and so on made worse by the fact if you make the mistake of running out you have to wait an additonal 5+ seconds to actually start moving at all because you need a party member to help you out.

The game ultimately feels like a proof of concept, it's insane we haven't seen a sequel in over 10 years, a greatly expanded sequel could have been Elden Ring before Elden Ring, if that makes sense.

Maybe you should just not shitpost so much, that way when you post a thought out responce or topic everyone ignores it. Or it gets PO/adjil to post a 500 word document responding your 10 word sentence.

I agree with this, by extension I always hate the "I'm not like the other Orcs" or other evil creature trope, I dislike that WoC is making the Drow less evil and making it seem like the Evil ones are more of a minorty, they already had Seldarine Drow for the occasional "good" Drow.
