TLJ took risks and burned the trilogy to the ground. Congrats! Difference between thinking outside the box and burning shit to the ground. Nobody in the executive team should have allowed anything like the "Holdo Maneuver" to ever even come into a Star Wars film. It was preposterous.

And, that's just one example.

I dont think trump personally is going to hang Pelosi for treason, but I dont know what some Q anon weirdo with a gun might do
Well, if they can't understand the English language then what can I say.

I mean, it is hyperbole that states they are trying to take the candidate that America voted in away through other means. And that the people who are trying to do that in the House need to be held accountable for this and voted out.

I mean, it is probably unnecessary hyperbole. It is more like pep rally talk than actual talk. But, I have personally dinged BLM for this also in the past, so I can understand the sentiment and concern of the language, I suppose.

Somehow Corrik has convinced himself its only the Left that ever calls people evil or bad when a common Republican meme is that only Conservatives are actually Americans while the Left are traitors who should be wiped out.

Hes going to say I didnt say that, but he also just said that the middle is moving right because of words, which implies only the Left is doing it.
I'm sure there are things the middle has moved more left because of it.

main thing i'll say is that it's way more than 900k people. it's around 3 million in that industry alone, from there you can expand the impact to other industries and have the number keep going up. most people in that industry don't make that much money either, it's a very normal job.
A lot of far left positions equate with job losses. That is fine and dandy in a good economy but...

That said, the end game goal is the government paying for you to survive via living stipends and such and workers being mostly automation.

It means you don't want to work with people who act like you are evil for having an opinion. If you are compromising on your opinion to meet in the middle then you are like fuck them when they call you evil for it.

Also, if you know you are a good person and someone is calling you evil for your opinion then you think they obviously have flawed deduction and reasoning so you are else apt to listen to them and are more apt to listen and reason with people who can discuss it with you amicably while still respecting you. It is kind of obvious.

When that organization gave me the better of the two job offers that I had out of college back in 2006, and my family requires the flexibility that they give me for scheduling, Im not going to leave just because. With how expensive daycare is, and the fact that our school district doesnt have buses, I need to work very odd hours to cover childcare and do school pick up and drop off.

I shouldnt have mentioned that I worked for an insurance company, especially in a topic that seems to be mostly progressive. It doesnt matter what I say, it always comes back to this kind of comment.
This is what drives people from the middle to further right. If the people on the left think I am evil, then why would I be apt to listen to them.

Because you specifically called out the behavior prior, they will play nice now (tho sir Chris wouldn't have done that to you anyways), but the fact that it is so prevalent that you go into it expecting that response is absolutely the problem.

I work in lab animal medicine at an ivy league university though, and Im considered essential staff on top of that, AND I live ten minutes away. This would never come up for me, because the lab has something like 20 different failsafe backups for inclement weather.

ie, if I put in for vacation there is no way for it to be affected. They take very, very good care of us.
B isn't theft in most situations.

If the office closes down and everyone is paid as if there, you should get your day back. If the office closes down and the people who didn't use a vacation day aren't paid and you were, then it was valid.

You should be able to change your mind and come in if it's a single vacation day. That isn't gonna fly if you put a week in and it is one of those days.

I said they probably have more experience and thus are more qualified at advising their father.

So on the one hand an energy company hired a "an American lawyer and lobbyist" as an advisor.

And the President of the United States hired an "American businesswoman, fashion designer, author, and reality television personality" as an advisor.

And you think not only are those the same thing, but the white house appointment was more correct? Even without bringing up the relationships into it's an absurdly one sided situation.

That investigation had been shelved for a year at the time of Joe Biden's involvement and it was widely agreed upon by both parties in the US and our allies in Europe that Shokin was corrupt and needed to go if Ukraine had any hope of reforming. In fact, because Shokin was ignoring corruption, replacing him put Burisma in more danger if they had done anything illegal.
That part is more of a isn't that an interesting connection sidenote. The gist is that Biden if rooting out corruption should have seen it directly in his face due to his son. Yet, I have a feeling Biden didn't seem to have much issue with that arrangement.

Are you saying Joe Biden did anything wrong? How did he use his position of power to "garner wealth for his son."
Read what I said. I said so his position of power was used.

You said, they likely hired him with the expectation of it paying off dividends with the US government because he was the son of Biden.

So the position of power was the reasoning for the hire. Correct?

Now, are we going to act like Joe Biden didn't know his son was hired by a company in a country he dealt with for a job he had zero experience or knowledge regarding in an extremely high paying job?

I mean, we aren't going to go that route right?

So, Joe either knows something is fishy there or he is incompetent, right?

So, if he knows something is fishy in the country that he supposedly is trying to root out corruption in, you would think he would advise his son to leave the job, refuse it, or investigate the company itself right?

Correct?

Yet, it was the investigator that was investigating the company for corruption that Biden had reason to believe was corrupt right before his eyes that he forced out of the Ukrainian government, while his son continued to draw his paycheck from said company.

Okay lets take this back to the top.

Your claim was that its the liberal playbook to label people they argue against as immoral.

My counter claim was that its every sides playbook, and offered you the example of your partner. Im pretty sure youve said in the past that she thinks supporting abortion is immoral too! Correct me if Im wrong.

Is she just one anecdote in the grand scheme of things? Yes. But I can point you to many examples of conservatives arguing their message from the morality point of view; that they are right and liberals are leading America down the path to Satan
Yes, she thinks you are killing babies if you have an abortion. You should probably repent and forgiveness will be granted if you go down that path.

This wasn't even the initial argument. The argument was that you can't help yourselves when debating politics to do it on almost every single topic.

I can start talking about how giving illegal aliens licenses in New York or whatever is insane and should not be allowed. And, it will bog down to someone saying I don't care about human beings because I think that for example. It is nonstop across the board politically with a huge number of liberals. It has been done repeatedly on so many different topics over and over at this point.

Cop in right. Evil Corrik!
Should have work requirements. Evil!
Illegal immigrants should be deported. Evil!
Welfare should be stricter and a temporary stopgap. Evil!
I mean, I could go on for a long time with this and the responses are generally in the same ballpark before long every time.

You are trying to find, desperately I might add, a single topic or such where my fiancee may found it immoral of someone to justify a completely different thing I am describing. It is you trying to project to justify.

The correlation doesn't exist for what you are trying to do, despite your /topic victory pose!
