This movie was great. The pacing was on point, and they managed to feature 6 heroes and 6 villains and not get bogged down at all. I do highly prefer the Vanessa of Netflix Daredevil, the knowing and accepting romantic partner to the crime lord, but this version gave Kingpin solid motivation. Also, Spider-Noir and the Rubik's cube is solid gold.

Anyway, minor things that are probably not even issues aside, I loved Part 1, can't wait for Part 2. Gotham City!

Line 2 - Quickly gained intensity. Also, rewatch. He wasn't a bad guy, he was the literal interpretation of True Neutral.

There was a set number and then X for a past crossover, but the next crossover is Crisis on Infinite Earths. It's not infinite if you don't have an unlimited count. Maybe Cisco and the Wellses he brings on just can't calculate for that yet? That's solid comic book logic.

More Batwoman is good with me.

That's actually a solid idea, if it's a 2k2 NA release cutoff. Not only do we take out the top tiers from that contest, but also their most obvious replacements. Also, a bunch of fodder that won't go away has to (especially the, sadly, much maligned FF games). In the past I'd say there was no interest in that, but there was no interest in this year's tournament.

Even in the first few contests they weren't infallible. Sonic played it dangerously close with Zero and Aeris in 2003, and Snake looked like trash against Frog in 2004. It's not infeasible that they could have lost to outside opposition back then and nipped the N9 in the butt early on.

It's bud, not butt. I know you can get a butt nipped and tucked now, but nipping the bud comes from the practice of preventing a flower or fruit from developing.

Also something to keep in mind, DD's armor in the show is for protecting against bullets and blades, yet we see him get the shit beat out of him almost every episode. If it's fisticuffs, that armor apparently does little to nothing.

I don't think we're that far off. You listed 3 movies I haven't seen and therefor can't comment on. The only one I've heard WOM on was Paddington 2, which is supposed to be better than the first. Thing is, no one can see every movie. Not even professional reviewers see them all.

I caught that yesterday as I wanted to see the space scenes on the big screen before it left theatres. Very solid movie with a wonderful score. I liked it a good deal more than Whiplash and La La Land.

I still like Whiplash a little more thanks to J.K. Simmons, but in his short career Chazelle has proven himself to be one of the great directors or this era.
