Look, I am not a psychological but you clearly have extreme anxiety issues, whether prototypically called social anxiety or not. All of these diagnoses are just arbitrary anyway, where we place varying issues into discrete boxes. The point is that anxiety is preventing you from having a healthy life, so what can you do about it?

I have horrible anxiety, panic and paranoia issues that don't necessarily intersect with my ability to have basic social interactions. I'm fine with having a conversation and for all my faults, I'm not socially or conversationally awkward in the slightest.

There's nothing I can do about it, unfortunately. I can't afford insurance and I've been put on countless medications which only made things worse.

I disagree. It's kind of sad though. If I didn't have these issues I think I would have had a fun social life, at least in my twenties. I'm almost going to be thirty and I'm old as hell now.

You clearly do otherwise you wouldn't be so miserable. Being in denial and repressing yourself is one of the worst things you can do.

I just feel like having a social circle would make me anxious. All I know is people judging me, making fun of me, and saying/doing things to hurt me. I'm also terrified at the idea of what kind of person would actually want to be my friend or partner. They'd have to be as much of a loser as I am.

This will never happen. I've had these worries since I was a toddler, and they were exacerbated by being constantly bullied, mocked and abused by my siblings growing up.

The ironic part is I don't have social anxiety. I can strike up conversation, I'm funny as hell. Part of me wonders if I even want to have friends and find love, or if I just want to so I come off as normal.

That's also part of it. I'm so embarrassed that the idea of making friends fills me with anxiety. I get a million different thoughts like "are they going to talk about me behind my back?" "do they pity me?" all the way to wondering how to afford doing shit I don't want to do in the first place like hanging out wherever.

I beat myself up over it because I feel like I don't deserve to be loved. I've been getting triggered a lot recently in regards to the past two abusive relationships I was in and I feel like too much emotional damage has been done. I've never really had any semblance of any positive relationship. No genuine friends, no sense of a family, and partners who made me feel awful.

I can't trust anyone, I don't really feel comfortable around anyone, I've lost all confidence, and my last relationship ruined intimacy so much for me that at times I feel like I somehow "turned" asexual.

Part of me is so embarrassed that I don't like talking about it because I don't want to be mistaken for some obnoxious incel loser.

Russell Brand is a perfect example of someone who is so open-minded that his brain sometimes falls out.

It's important to open up about these things and talk to people who are willing to listen and help. I wish I had some advice to dispense; the situation seems awful all around.

This just came out of nowhere. This was years ago.

I was in high school during a free period, and there was this guy in the grade above me who was pretty nice but made awful fucking music. I remember being at the table while he was blasting his shitty band. For some reason he decided to turn up the volume during this insufferable "WOAH-OH-OH-WOOAH-UH-UH-OH" part and I started to let legit dizzy and lightheaded, just due to the secondhand embarrassment. I started darting my eyes around being afraid that people would look at the table.

BBLs are so fucking gross. It's gonna be hilarious in a few years when beauty standards shift and all of these clown-ass women can't afford to get it liposuctioned back out.

These issues exist, and people who suffer from them shouldn't be made to feel less because they don't know or just can't write well.

That said, you can't deny that in a majority of cases it just boils down to indifference and/or laziness. My brother is a prime example. He has no difficulties or impediments, is fairly smart and articulate, but doesn't put any effort into how he writes or spells because in his words, "it doesn't fucking matter".

Don't even let me get started on people who go out of their way to disable autocorrect/punctuate/capitalize on their phones because they just want to come off as casual and aloof.

It takes borderline zero effort to be articulate in writing. If you're a grown-ass adult, English is your primary language, and you still can't differentiate to/two/too, where/were, your/you're, it's more embarrassing than anything else.

It also shows a lack of professionalism. I vividly remember being at my last job and nearly everyone in management making fun of a district manager because he could barely spell anything in his emails despite having multiple degrees.

I don't think ghosting is ever necessary. A crazy guy who can't handle rejection is going to react negatively to being ghosted, too.

The only way I could escape my previous relationship was by simply ghosting my partner. The last time we spoke she was texting me, repeatedly telling me to kill myself, calling me worthless, and spamming gore pictures.

Ghosting is 100% appropriate and necessary when the other party is unable to be reasoned with or be aware of their behavior. I don't regret it at all.
