By some miracle they brought this amazing show back for a season 2 and with HBOs new overlords cutting content left and right this show needs all the eyes it can get

It is not scary at all tbh

the premise is that the group stages fake horror scenarios for clients to trick people (like staging a haunting to make people not want to buy a house) but its all very absurdist/goofy/not realistic or gory

I assumed from the name that it was a Spanish language series and I didn't care to watch comedy by subtitle.

They did seem to do a poor job making people aware it exists, it was never shown to me on my recommendations even though I watch a bunch of their comedies. Maybe they treat it as a foreign language show because

Its about 50/50, with English and Spanish and then subtitled in the opposite language

but they actually subbed it with this in mind so there are slightly different jokes in the other language and they time the subtitles well for the purposes of the comedy. It works really well imo
