Judging from every superhero wedding issue ever, he was tempting fate by going like that. Supervillains don't crash civilian weddings, they crash the weddings where superheroes are present. Most recent example being the She-Hulk show.

Jaden is fascinating experiment in what would happen if a celebrity made no attempt to actually raise their child but provided them infinite resources to do whatever they want.

And that's not some sort of personal theory. Will himself admit he took a "hands off" approach to raising Jaden and admit that he probably went too far.

Hands off as parents, not agents/managers. And even in that regard, both Jaden AND Willow said they felt forced into their roles as stars and both resented their parents over it. Jaden wanted to disown him for a while but got over it.
