Do you feel bad for the learning loss of the generation of kids attending school during this COVID pandemic right now? I think the only thing on my side it is a part time second job at fast food joint. And my job called me to come in because they are understaffed. Usually 10 people are there on any given day. Today only 1 person showed up. I didnt pick up the phone. Do I risk getting fired or in trouble if I dont respond and come in tomorrow like nothing happened? I know if I come in today it is going to be way more work than usual and it not like I would be getting paid extra for it. --- Hey now. |
