Havent played this in probably 35 years minimum. All I remember is having PTSD trying to get the pencil out of his arm.

Morrowind. I hate the noise that Dreugh make. But its the weird bleating near ghost fence that got to me. There arent any goats or sheep or anything else in the game that makes that noise. And for some reason that just freaks me the hell out.

Are those the vampires? Because going into a cave and running into those things scared the crap outta me.

And as for games that are supposed to be scary its Alien Isolation all the way. I had to stop playing it because it gave me too much anxiety. It took me almost an hour to crawl through baggage claim!

Im not the biggest Anthrax fan but I love Caught in a Mosh and Im the Man. I think Among the Living is considered their best album but I really like Attack of the Killer Bs and oddly enough Sound of White Noise which has John Bush on vocals and sounds very different. Whats cool about Anthrax is their humor IMO.

Oh and their collaboration with Public Enemy on the Bring Tha Noize remake is epic. When it came out it blew everyone I knew away.

I love these things but never went up to a real one before this morning. God damn they are HUGE. Really tall, I was surprised.

Its tough

On one hand, weapons that break in 4 hits sucks.

But on the other, if they didnt break that fast youd be loaded up on a billion of the same twigs and spears you find absolutely everywhere. Or theyd have to hide the games only 40 weapons throughout a world the size of Asia.

If they want to keep durability, just increase it a ton so that weapons break after 30 swings instead of 3.

Joined a punk rock band again for the first time since 1997. Our first show was two weeks ago and we have another one coming up at the end on January. I never thought Id do this stuff in public again and have been making solo music / one man band stuff in the interim.

Yeah I was really lucky. Although I have big regrets about missing their initial post Bob 2 tour where they played all their old old stuff...I'd also be a huge fan of seeing a bunch of Oh No material. I'm pretty sure they played Peek-A-Boo! though!

I've seen Claypool that once, and Primus later that year...interestingly enough, the tour where they had reunited with Jay Lane - pre Green Naugahyde. I looove that album but it was really cool to see a show that was all across their early catalogue.

Les is a huge reason why I wanted to play bass.I saw Jerry was a Racecar Driver on Headbangers Ball in 91 or 92 and Ricky Rackman didnt know how to introduce them. Just the most bizarre stuff (Gus!) Im incredibly happy they got the recognition they deserve, even if it took a billion years. At least now most people have heard of them even if they dont like the music.

That being said Im not a super huge fan of his solo stuff. I know, I know, Ill probably burn in hell for saying that but aside from Sausage his side projects just arent nearly as good as Primus. I dont like how they tend to extend their songs live now and turn them into jam sessions. Their songs are great as they are, play em like that!

My favorite albums are Frizzle Fry and the Brown album. Brain is no Herb, but I always appreciated his straight forward groove. Kind of plays like Jay Lane, actually.

when I went to Coachella in 2010, I saw Les Claypool followed by DEVO. it was enthralling.

Thats amazing, Ive liked both bands forever but never saw either live in person. And before Bob 2 clocked out too. The only dig against DEVO I can level is that for the past few tours they pretty much stick with the hits (minus the charity run for Bob 2s family). Id really love them to break out more of Oh No or Duty Now. At this point though theyre pretty much done.

edit- Alan was a machine. Easily one of the best drummers Ive ever heard. Super underrated.

Top 5 is probably a lot different than favorites though.

People of PotD! Some of you might know this but my other big hobby besides game dev is writing and playing music. And with that being said Im in a new punk band called Ruffian Dick. He was an explorer / adventurer from way back, and not some new sex move haha. Weve been given the all clear to share our stuff finally after maybe 6 months which is when we started playing together. Personally-speaking this is the first real band Ive been in since 1998 so a looooooong time for sure.

Anyhow our band leader put two of our demo songs up on bandcamp and we plan on releasing more stuff soon enough (as well as play our fist gig in a couple months too!)

I play the bass and sing back up in this one. Ive written a few songs for the band too however its pretty different than my usual weird crapola.
