Shit I love Midnight Oil! I just saw them on their farewell tour. Also seeing B-52s on theirs later this year. Been meaning to see the Fixx. I have all their 80s records.

Same! I saw them in Boston at the Roadrunner a couple months ago. They debuted Last Frontier which is my favorite track off Resist. Also played Dont Wanna be the One and Stand in Line back to back. Was an awesome concert!

If you check the Powderworkers Facebook page theyll be streaming tonight / tomorrow early AMs concert from Australia. Its a special gig called One for the Road and theyre gonna play a couple songs off each album in their catalog. I cant wait! Hopefully a lot of rarities off Red Sails and Postcard.

Yeah see this is a little more concerning but it still isnt the end of the world. Id think the biggest problem here is that anybody that age is going to be in a completely different frame of mind than you are. Maybe into different stuff, ex she wants to party every weekend but thats not for you all the time anymore.

Honestly guys, I dont envy you. I lucked out with my wife but man if I were single now Id be in the same boat as you are, and wouldnt want to do internet dating or whatever it is they do now.

Planting was pretty good because you could get stat boosters from regular mixed seeds sometimes, and those were pretty common.

I didnt mind the school parts too much. But there was just a lot going on Like if you wanted to get certain students in your class. Or if you wanted people to be certain classes in battle Lots of stuff. These seems a little different though But I could only see so much

My main thing was they only met you do a couple things, so Id always train my guys manually in class and eat dinner with the same certain units to grow their bonds and etc. VERY RARELY Id fish or plant seeds.

Plus if you wanted to do a side quest fight you had to skip all the school stuff, at least I think thats how it worked its been a while.

One thing I hope this fixes is having way larger fonts. Three Houses is brutal on handheld mode or my Lite.

It looked nice enough but these are all basically the same thing at this point. I have Harvest Moons, Rune Factory, Stardew Valley, Story of Seasons Mineral Town etc etc

Man I never played Three Houses

It was pretty fun, though I think the school parts kind of drag it down a bit.

This new one looks to essentially be more of the same kind of thing but I like how you can summon old heroes from those rings in battle.

Im in another band (punk band, were not public yet so I cant spill the beans) so any song I write and bring to them that doesnt fit gets put on this solo project stuff. We did use two of mine already so Ive just been writing and writing as much as I can. Its tons of fun.

Good game but man that was so sloggy to play because of it.

I think with how many options we all have now the average player is more likely to blow through games to try out than ever before.

In the OLD DAYS I'd have to suffer through some of the bad NES picks I bought like Heroes of the Lance or Magmax because the option to have Steam where you can buy so many games for relatively cheap didn't exist yet. Now though if a game (on Steam) looks okay and it's on heavy sale I'll get it, give it a shot, and if it's not all that hot I'll just move onto something else.

The SNES version was sadly a very watered down port, and IIRC it crashed like crazy.

Mine never crashed, but the most memorable bad part was that doing anything in it was super slow. Moving from space to space, even turning to face another direction was really slow.

I got used to it but it's definitely noticeable.

That's been gone for a couple decades at this point. I think I was there in 2003 and it was the last year or already gone, I can't remember which.

Ah okay, yeah it has been a while.

When I was there they had some people stuck at the very top of it and they were working on getting them down with a crew. Not like I would've gone on that thing anyhow, but seeing that certainly wouldn't have helped.

Somewhat concerned. I have a 401K but unlike most people I started it sort of late in my career.
I know it's better than nothing but I'll probably work past retirement age at this point is my guess.

Cedar Point in Ohio, but it's really the only big one I've ever been to really and that was in 1984 or so.

For context, when I went there they had just opened up the Demon Drop and now apparently it's already retired!

Yeah totally different, and this time you don't even have Dave's voice as the constant (which as you know was remarkably "mature"-sounding from even way back when. I suppose when you have a career as long as theirs it's probably impossible to sound exactly the same from album to album, as people might tend to get burnt out on them and then your career isn't quite as long!

One thing about the band is sometimes trying to find the right mix of a song, since there are so many of them. A great example would be the video version of In Your Room, which is far superior to the album version, the guitars and more prominent drums make it for me. Same thing with Strangelove, I like the faster beat.

While I don't like every single one of their songs, they have a shit load of good songs. If I had to put together a top 10 or 15 it'd be pretty hard to do. Totally different band of course but this is how I feel about Rush- just awesome bands with expansive catalogs filled with good stuff.

Thats cool you were able to see them in some capacity, I only had one chance years ago and of course the show sells out like nothing.

I guess theyre still going to write, Martin and Dave, though to be honest I kind of think their last good album was Playing the Angel so Im not really going to get my hopes up too much.

The most fun I've had with online gaming was with this game.

Everquest for me. There was a stretch of maybe 2 and a half years where that's practically all I did every day in the early 2000s. This was the one and only time I was into MMORPGs and now I don't even try any because that shit was definitely not healthy.

Best Atari games I played were Adventure, Combat, Pitfall, Vanguard, Solaris, and one I always forget the name of but you were an eagle in Egyptian times and picking up three hieroglyphics in different orders gave you different powers.

Probably still Borderlands 2, I've been replaying it on Switch.

Borderlands 3 is really great aside from the story and writing which are REALLY terrible so I still give the edge to BL2.

Yeah its timed out. Has been for a while, no idea if its always been like that though.

This is a really great and fun roguelike, I know lots of people won't dig the ASCII art but it's done really well here. Pretty simple control scheme too which has long been something I don't care for with most roguelikes.

Oh holy shit! Have they finally gone back to medieval times with swords and cannons and stuff? I loved the first two Warhammer games for PS1 but then they went into 40,000 leagues under the sea / space or whatever and lost me.

This one looks pretty great though.
