They aren't casting some magical spell on these pants. There are different varieties that vary in stetchiness. I've settled on Levi's "athletic" brand (stretchy) as my perfect spot. Its $20-25 a pair and they last for years. I bought my most recent pair at King Soopers (my local grocery store). Don't spend $200 on something this utilitarian. It won't be better except in your own head. |

Honestly the reason I ordered it for delivery in the first place was that the Chipotle has been a shit show for the past week or two because the Qdoba just down the street is closed for renovations. I've had bad experiences with showing up even after ordering online and letting them know I'm there and sitting on my ass for half an hour waiting for my order to be finished. I'm a software developer for a company that lets me work from home for a portion of my workday so I drove home popped open my laptop and finished up my hours from home figuring that I was making more cash that I would lose by hanging out waiting for an order to finish. |

Guess those delivered burritos will be a breakfast burritos. |

| Atralis 12/17/21 9:53:38 PM #1 | Chipotle apparently goes through door dash and I had a weird experience of seeing about 4 drivers sign up to take our order and then drop it before finally one called me and said something along the lines of "dude theres like 25 door dash drivers at this place waiting for orders from over an hour ago. I would just cancel the order and find some other food". So I put in a petition to cancel the order through the Chipotle app and ordered some food from somewhere else but I'm still getting texts from Chipotle saying "your order is on the way at almost 8 pm when I ordered at 4:50 with the link telling me "Ling Tong" is waiting at Chipotle for them to finish making my food. I'm half expecting a Chinese dude to show up at my door at 9 saying "THIS WAS NOT WORTH A $5 TIP!" |

My city, Aurora CO, unbanned them despite the fact that a few years ago voters chose 2-1 in a referendum to keep the ban. The dogs are just on average too aggressive and strong to be considered safe pets to own. They should be banned in most areas for the same reason that you aren't allowed to own a mountain lion. |

| Atralis 12/13/21 10:49:01 PM #21 | It was fine compared to the ps1 OG controller with no sticks at all but its clearly inferior to a dual stick controller. I remember playing goldeneye on the n64 controller and thinking "wow this is fun" then I got into PC gaming and played Half Life + it's mods (Counter Strike, Team Fortress, the golden age of modding) and I instantly knew the 64 controller was trash compared to the mouse and keyboard. Later I played with console dual stick controllers and was able to make it work. But the silliness of that controller cannot be understated for certain genres. Holy the shoulder button and stand perfectly still if you want to aim a shot. |

This was the thing that was made by this specific person. Its basically just a a basic hash that any software dev would understand being run against a file on a computer and the person is buying that hash and they can sue anyone that says they don't own that hash. Why its stupid: Because you could make a billion identical copies per second to that thing you are buying as an NFT and you don't own any of those copies. All you are buying is the right to say "I own the original that all the others were ctrl-c, ctrl-v'ed off of". Its meaningless. Maybe all art is this but its just a bragging right. "I own the NFT to this thing". You don't get money when someone makes a copy of it. You don't get anything from owning it. |

We have the best universities and hospitals in the world if you can afford them. The US is great if you are a professional with a degree and a usefull set of skills. I make a lot more here and pay less taxes as a software engineer than I would in Canada or Europe. |

My grandfather (born 1919, ww2 veteran) was about as racist against Italian people as he was against "Latinos" is the point I was getting at. When I love Lucy came out people in his part of the country (Philly) barely even realized that people from Latin America existed and if they met them they checked 99% of the same boxes as Italians who they had met a ton of. My grandfather was basically a poor white protestant growing up on a farm (his Dad died when he was a baby of the 1918 pandemic and he had to leave the house at 14 to start making money) that moved to the city and married an Irish Catholic girl after he came back from the war. Being that poor he still looked down on "Eye"talians. Which says something about the nature of racism. |

They were married in real life and later divorced. The big point that people are missing if they are outraged about this is that people's conceptions of race have changed over time. Desi Arnaz was a Latino but he grew up in Cuba as a rich white Latino. He was seen as white even in the United States and it wasn't seen as a racially mixed marriage. People in the 50's still had a ton of direct experience of having large white immigrant communities fresh off the boat from Europe, particularly southern Europe and honestly Spain itself was an incredibly poor country so being Spanish vs being a Spanish person from Cuba didn't really mean much. |
