Well, if you frequent the board of a particular system or game then you are probably a fan of it... and the fragile ego of the average message board user will not allow for them to accept opposing opinions.

The site is pretty much dead these days if you look at the actual active users numbers. People have moved on and younger people simply don't use this old style of message boards anymore over things like reddit, Facebook groups or even YouTube comments.

If there were only like four weight class with 30 or 40lbs between them I think people would be less inclined to make dramatic weight cuts and be able to fight at more realistic weights.

40lbs would be a RIDICULOUS amount of weight to give up in any grappling/clinching based combat.

It doesn't make sense to you because you've likely never competed in any kind of combat sport in your life. Weight cutting has always been a part of combat sports. From Olympic wrestling to pro boxing and it will never go away. When you have weight classes, people will always try to make it to the lowest possible weight class they can make. Amateur wrestlers have literally died because of same day weigh ins... Not just adults but high school wrestlers.

This, mainly. It's a part of the very culture of these sports and it won't go away. The more responsible thing to do is safeguard the well-being of the fighters doing it.

It's recently officially been made illegal in the UK.

Weight cutting in fighting (and in some other sports) is water weight. Guys cut at least an entire weight division and then rehydrate to a much bigger size for the fight.

His physique and charisma are perfect for the genres he mainly works - action and action comedies. I don't know if he would have the acting skills to pull off a really complex portrayal with multiple levels of subtext and whatnot, but who cares? Dude is living an incredible life!

They must be at least significantly interested in the skills/experience you can bring to the table, yes.

It's plastic, rather than glass, so an alcohol based spray will over time eat away at the surface.

The "logic" begins their dislike is that it is contributing to a "dilution" of the white race.

It was astounding at the time, an incredible experience to play a Zelda game reimagined in a 3D world.

It certainly suffers today in comparisons to modern big adventure games - particularly the largely empty overworld, incredibly basic combat and bad pacing but, eh, that's just progress.

If Witcher 3 came out in 1998 it would have been the best game of all time, but it didn't.

I mean, couldn't they extensively test it on one of those mannequins that records pressure/impact?

Yeah that's the one. The episode "Our Finest Hour" is missing a couple minutes but other than that it's a great collection.

If it's the same one I got my wife about ten years ago (mocked up like a first aid box), it's really cool though there are two episodes where the master tapes are lost so you have to make do with a low quality syndicated television video copy rather than the film master.

I can't see physical game shops surviving much longer, outside of independent specialists that focus on collectables/imports etc

I'm not fat.. because I play two sports and I consume non-greedy **** volumes of food at meal times.
