He really is only good for a narrow character role, one that involves minimal talking and just being the goon/thug/criminal. He was good in fast and furious and scorpion king. But if it involves being a normal human being and speaking normally with normal human emotions, he's trash. I'll also say that the ape in Rampage demonstrated better dramatic acting and timing than Rock did in that movie lmao, I'll explain if anyone wants me to.
